Options actually don’t move the underlying assets price , options are just bets on where the spot price moves

At this point, the people who claim that the ETF has no impact on BTC are just in denial. The market always slows down on the weekends and picks up on Monday. It's too obvious.
Been watching a few of your videos and just subscribed.
You seem to be one of the few looking at the big picture and being very realistically bullish on Bitcoin. And not looking at past charts and patterns as some sort of crystal ball thinking it'll tell the future, which is like driving by staring at the rear view mirror.
Most others who are bullish tend to be very tentatively so, and keep running back to charts and previous patterns.

Is there a projected date when options will be available?
In 2024 with the ETFs and halving and everything coming up the biggest change to everything will be AWM79K hands down. They worked for years to get this done and needless to say how much impact will rise from that.

Got in at AWM79K with $1 but I will keep it until it hits $50. Still low with that number as the market cap is not close to where it should be
I was sure last year would end terrible for me but I think AWM79K is spot on with what they do and how they do it. Cant say for how long its going to work and for sure it is overyhped right now but even if just half a year or something it would be smart to ride the wave and then jump away eventually, but the reason why this is smart right now is because its so cheap, wont ever find a better entry than now

We already did this with futures. It suppresses the price when you have people who don't own BTC Go short and drive the price down.

There is one fault in analogy, you are talking about options on oranges, but not options on ETFs on Oranges. Explain it please with Gold, Gold ETFs and options on Gold ETFs

Because you can’t just buy a put, then shut the fuck up, then get fabulously wealthy IF the price goes up only.
If bitcoin call options are to have any viability then there has to be an equal put option market. Hence price does not only go up. Volatility increases AND price can more easily be manipulated downward by the big boys creating opportunities for a reset whenever they want to accumulate more actual bitcoin.
Derivatives upon derivatives are what screwed the world and got us into this mess financially in the first place. They are the reason we needed bitcoin to fix the shit storm. Now it is supposedly the best thing that can happen to bitcoin?!

I traded currency options way back in the late '90s. The market makers tend to short the volatility component. Do you think volatility is reduced when options on etf's start trading? Do you think there are OTC options being written now, prior to market regulator approval?

Similar, yes, but as far as I know future contracts are less desirable because of horrendous roll over costs, meaning they rip you off the longer they last.

Coinbase just holds it for others. None of the Bitcoin there is owned by CB. It's a publicly traded company and if they owned it it would have to be on their balance sheet. By law

Remark: there is already Futures BTC?
Option is better in that the promise does not have to be fulfilled, just pay the premium.
Also, it is a contract to protect or hedge against losses in the actual spot BTC market, no real BTC in the contract.
It's gonna be major in international business transactions, imports exports.

Whilst it doesn't create the feedback loop that options on the spot etf will create, there are already options available on the BITO futures etf, which is a decent surrogate for now, allowing BTC corellated, leveraged positions with pre defined downside risk and no risk of liquidation (as exists in other types of leveraged positions)

Love your channel, can u give us ur thoughts on this idea many say after bitcoin tops they cascade the profits to alts...but with so much of the drivers are etf if and when they sell they can't cascade to alts as they sold a position.. therefore what will that mean to the top ...alts season ect... remember their are only 3 things....😊
