As long as the plastic bottle is not in a hot environment for hours, you can rinse out the bottle as soon as you are done drinking and/or add some water and dish detergent, shake it up and leave it until you are ready to wash the cup. This reduces the odor dramatically.
I'd pick the Bolde - I think probably the less plastic involved, the better off you are. I know they say it's "safe" plastic, but just seems like over time it will get beat up and leach something (especially with the metal ball bouncing around in there).
Ty very much for this information, had it not been for the steep price I would have bought the Bolde bottle (althought I haven't decided yet since I do want a full stainless steel shaker). Great review!
I used the Strada for a long time and after some use the plastic from the top (probably from the ball hitting it) is starting to fall apart which mean I am ingesting that plastic therefore the search for all steel. I loved my Strada but now i am looking for an all steel shaker if anyone knows of any. Even the small amount of plastic on the Bolde worries me.

don't forget that you'll also enjoy micro plastic
@@7dienosLtnaujienosI require your finest microplastic my good sir
Actually the Strada is marketed as 316 steel which is a higher grade(surgical steel)

is the Bolde Bottle company still around and a good company? I see this video is a year old and I cannot find any newer videos on youtube - Thanks!
$55 is steep, plus $12 for a silicon carry loop? Jesus. This screams instagram overmarketing
Can I wash them in dishwasher?
Rounded bottom is key, don’t think the bolde has that
I wish he had mentioned that!
Real bummer the Bolde is so small, 20oz, meh. 28 oz and I’d buy one.
There is a 26oz version it just doesn’t have the container for supplements at the bottom
may be it is not an issue that strada dont have steal top , bc protein doenst contact with lid at all
Soooo you don't shake it, or drink with the lid on? Both occasions require the protein, et al, to make contact with the plastic lid...
@@RAWDEAL064 ok my bad
where do by now
Yeah, that top world be a pain to wash
You fail to mention that your comparing a 25 bottle to a 55 bottle
i mention that at about the 9 minute mark.
