Balkan Taksim Liveurope Tour - March 2022

Earlier this spring, Romanian psychedelic fusion band Balkan Taksim was back on the road and got to play with no less than four iconic Liveurope venues with our platform’s support!
Their Liveurope tour kicked off in Palác Akropolis in Prague, continued in A38 in Budapest, followed by Nová Cvernovka in Bratislava, before wrapping up at Kino Šiška in Ljubljana.
Thanks to support from the Creative Europe programme of the European Union, the band was able to go back to venues they loved, discover new ones and gain new audiences.

Balkan Taksim is the brainchild of Romanian multi-instrumentalist artist Sașa-Liviu Stoianovici and electronic producer Alin Zăbrăuțeanu. Bringing Balkan traditional music to their audience in unexpected ways, they merge past and present, ancient rhythms and modern technologies, traditional instruments and electronic production and beats.
