Thanks again Arthur for this great tri-olgy on this fantastic layout!, the website is amazing !, fancy designing a house to fit a layout!! Cheers Gregg
Very impressive! I hope that in the near future, I will have my layout up and running, but for now, I am working on a shelf switching layout at my sister's place.
I loved all 3 parts thank you for filming this ops sesh and the whole layout it has given me so many ideas for my n scale up bnsf sp Rio grande dream layout.
This is definitely one fine layout for sure & a real credit to the hobby. One can clearly see these folks are serious about their model railroading when one looks at the details & operation of the layout. I do like that mirror idea & I believe I will have to try that on my current layout that is under construction. I also liked the flashing light on the road sign for the dangerous curve ahead as that truly adds realism to the layout. Great video my friend, thanks for sharing!
+CanadianRailroading My hope to return in Spring in 2016. it is not a year for Rocy Op North but John has extended open invitation to come operate at one of his regular sessions so may take him up on it.
Backdrops of buildings are three to four suppliers. Scenic king, kingsmill, background screens, if you Google model rr background scenery you will come up with several.
Great layout - awful video. Please don't pan so fast - hold your shots - use a tripod when ever possible - small consumer video camcorders are difficult to hand-hold when used by inexperienced filmmakers.
Amazing layout, second to none. The keen eye for detail is just awesome, bet it is really fun to operate on this huge layout. Thanks for sharing!
The river scene and the use of the mirror blew me away. Well done to the builder. Jason.

One of the Top 10 model railroads in the US. There are three parts to this story please watch all three.
That is awesome, especially the bridge and highway scene.

you have part of the downtown of Saskatoon, Sask, Canada in the backdrop, I recognize the hotel and the tall buildings around it.
In comments i have said it is located in Denver area.
Very nice layout, you should make another video on it. Keep up the great work.

The man and women in early 20s were found dead in coal pile in Fl at power plant.
sticklift riding in a coal car is highly dangerous. better to use a box car.
Go to bnsf fall river division.com web site and ask John.
John's web site is www.bnsfrr.net/
Best not to ride the rails at all.
Ho
