thats why people need to look down sometimes, not just looking up everytime, im not saying to stop aim higher, but be thankful of what you have, one simple act of kindness a day will help bring smile to those around you.
In case people think she was eating literal grass, Many asian countries have numerous species of naturally growing plants that are edible and historically have been eaten as genuine dishes. So she was definitely poor if she did it out of necessity, but she most likely wasn't in "3rd world starving child" level of poverty
Never play or sing the song "The Green Green Grass of Home" in Kanata's presence. But seriously, it makes you want to protect her and spoil her, just to see that precious smile.
I think my life is bad because all my UN lucky and my bad life choice. But after i watch this i think IM not that bad and become more motivated to doing more. Thanks kanata and the translator
To be honest, for eating as one person for 1 month, 20€ (25$) is really enough some month it's even 10€ (12$) that I use for eating (because sometimes I still have things from the past month), when I want to make a bit of sugary pleasures, it's can go up to 30€ (37$) (mostly during month event like chrismas and such). Or sometimes I use 40€ to buy food for 3/4 months. And for real, 5$ dollars for 1 panty is really high priced, I bought a pack of 5 for 5$.
Thats impossible in Japan maybe youre from 3rd world country so 25$ is possible but not 12$. I mean here in Philippines 12$/mon. is like eating 2 eggs and 1/4kg rice per day(1egg and 1/8kg rice per meal without even breakfast) thats like dying.
@@gladewings1192 I'm from France, supermarket are really cheap if you live in the countryside. We have things like Lidle, Aldi, Monoprix, Carrefour. And even big supermarket offer things with cheaper price. So yeah 25$ to but is really enough if you don't live in big cities like Paris. 1,50$ is 1kg of pasta or rice. Potatoes are like 2/3$ for the kg. It's really cheap. You even have many good cookies for 1$. Same for tea and such. There is a wide range of price going from cheap but good to fancy and unnecesseray since they pretty much taste the same. Even bread is like less than 1$ With 25$ in France you can literally buy 20 things. And for clothes, it's also cheap there, there is things like Baboo and most clothes in super market are also cheap. We even have a shop Action where almost everything cost 1/1,50$. And when there is promotions each summer and winter things get even cheaper for clothes or electronics in regular shop during the 2nd part of the promotion because things can go up to less than 70%.
after watching this made me realize that I should think twice before spending my money and really appreciate for what my parent did to give me a comfort live :((
Japan heavily relies on imports as Rural Farms to stay competitive in the international Market as South East Asia and South America produce more Standard Product and at Cheaper Price than Japan who compromised focused on High End Products for Exports making domestic Product Expensive and Imports Cheaper.
I dont know i just like i know how she feels, i mean even tho i have 100 dollars but if i get used to eat 10 dollars a month, more than that i will say its expensive. Dang ill never forget to looking down ever after watch this clips
I didn't grow up too poor, but I got curious during recess one day, and ate a bit of grass, and it wasn't half bad, so if I ever go into superpoverty®, I could probably live on pine needles, and grubs.
Eating grass? Man... Guess i'm still considered as lucky. When there's nothing to eat. Usually i'll have a rice with salt as topping. If there's no rice. I'll just go with food flavorings(?). Anyway i'd like to tell some story. I always like Kanata the first time i see her (obviously not by her debut) Especially, her character design like star shaped halo, small pair of wings, and her cute thigh. Second is her feminine attitude, but i guess y'all know most of 4th gen is feminine, Kanata's sitting in 3d avatar is the most adorable thing i've ever seen ngl. But, the thing is dont follow her that much. I didn't even watch her stream often. Just these weeks i started to catch up. Guess i'm late to the party huh?
Dont mind me here just fucking sobbing that she is so happy after eating a 17$ steak. While 17$ is what I consider a pricer meal, I just want to hold her tight and just feed her anything she wants TT.TT

Maan I Just love this Girls. They tdeserve the Best. Also can we take a moment to appreciate the effords of this youtuber who gathered all of those moments, edit them & let us see it. This video made realize just how ungrateful I am…
Im so glad I found this video. It was worth the watch!
Urgh... Kanata is an angel indeed.
Kanata, Senchou, Miko, Amelia, Kiara, Calliope, Suisei, etc. all won my heart.
Glad to know everyone is doing okay now.
This really makes me appreciate growing up within the 1 percent. Part of the reason why I donate a lot of my money to local charities
ahhh this pptenshi have been through a lot, I hope she get whatever she wanted in life
Some of grass taste like mentos :v
Theres some that tastes like sugar too
You mean lemongrass?
Thanks for give us this. Thanks to translators too.
If only I could give Kanata some of my chickens and goats....
Maybe one day we will be able to superchat physical stuff, haha.
Bro I wanna fucking cry this angel went through a lot
thats why people need to look down sometimes, not just looking up everytime, im not saying to stop aim higher, but be thankful of what you have, one simple act of kindness a day will help bring smile to those around you.
T_T wow what the heck kinda life she went through!?
i love this girl.
In case people think she was eating literal grass, Many asian countries have numerous species of naturally growing plants that are edible and historically have been eaten as genuine dishes. So she was definitely poor if she did it out of necessity, but she most likely wasn't in "3rd world starving child" level of poverty
maan this got me emotional as heck shes precious
Never play or sing the song "The Green Green Grass of Home" in Kanata's presence. But seriously, it makes you want to protect her and spoil her, just to see that precious smile.
Food X Food, Thanks for this amazing video it's so emotional :")
No wonder she has 50kg grip strength. To grasp her dream...
She grinds her way to the top. Respect
This girl have one of those anime flashbacks😢
I think my life is bad because all my UN lucky and my bad life choice. But after i watch this i think IM not that bad and become more motivated to doing more. Thanks kanata and the translator
This is so hard to believe. It's insane. Where were her parents when she was struggling? Dead or as poor?
This is really sad and eye opening
The reality is eating grass is the source of power for Goritenshi.
This just made me teary 😌 she deserves to be protected ☺️
To be honest, for eating as one person for 1 month, 20€ (25$) is really enough some month it's even 10€ (12$) that I use for eating (because sometimes I still have things from the past month), when I want to make a bit of sugary pleasures, it's can go up to 30€ (37$) (mostly during month event like chrismas and such). Or sometimes I use 40€ to buy food for 3/4 months.
And for real, 5$ dollars for 1 panty is really high priced, I bought a pack of 5 for 5$.
How on earth can you sustain yourself like that? I can go through that in a few days usually...
Even bread is like less than 1$
With 25$ in France you can literally buy 20 things.
And for clothes, it's also cheap there, there is things like Baboo and most clothes in super market are also cheap. We even have a shop Action where almost everything cost 1/1,50$. And when there is promotions each summer and winter things get even cheaper for clothes or electronics in regular shop during the 2nd part of the promotion because things can go up to less than 70%.
after watching this made me realize that I should think twice before spending my money and really appreciate for what my parent did to give me a comfort live :((
im so happy for her
so that's why shes so strong, this was basically her training arc.
im not crying. you are. *sobs
This video is punching me in my feels organ.
I wanna give her a big digital hug 😭
I thought only third world plebs like me ate grass during their childhood. I wasn't expecting someone from Japan to have the same experience.
Japan heavily relies on imports as Rural Farms to stay competitive in the international Market as South East Asia and South America produce more Standard Product and at Cheaper Price than Japan who compromised focused on High End Products for Exports making domestic Product Expensive and Imports Cheaper.
@@lettuceman9439 Yeah, I know that. But eating grass just to fill yourself in a first world country looked up by many people is still a huge surprise.
If you think about it, she went from eating
Stand master: Amane Kanata
Stand name: Green Grass and High Tides
I dont know i just like i know how she feels, i mean even tho i have 100 dollars but if i get used to eat 10 dollars a month, more than that i will say its expensive. Dang ill never forget to looking down ever after watch this clips
You know what make her strong? Because she can fight with anything she have, but yeah, she was our goritenshi
This is why I donate to her, damn...
4:00 so thaaaaaaats what happened to the graduated member huh
This is a joke, said with no disrespect meant for anyone
Kanata be like: Finally some good fucking food!
“Fortunately Coco & Kanata are now living in a new apartment”
2020: 😄
2022: 😢
it’s raining….
She is strong girl
It’s alright girl, I ate sand when I was little. :( never thought about trying grass tho.
From Grass -> Kanata,
It became Grass -> Cow -> Kanata
I didn't grow up too poor, but I got curious during recess one day, and ate a bit of grass, and it wasn't half bad, so if I ever go into superpoverty®, I could probably live on pine needles, and grubs.
I just remember the story of Kaji Yuki before he became famous VA. It kind similar.
She went from eating grass to 草
damn i wouldn't even think of eating grass as a food. if I'm hungry I'm just going to drink lots of water
Eat more, Kanata! Then you can be our emergency food!
This video makes kanata look loke a rescued dog lmao.
Guess i'm late to the party huh?
i thought she ate paper
she also ate paper too but didn't include it :')
@@JustEggsan 😂
@@ZafkielDesu :^D
Dont mind me here just fucking sobbing that she is so happy after eating a 17$ steak. While 17$ is what I consider a pricer meal, I just want to hold her tight and just feed her anything she wants TT.TT
