Thanks! The trash is sorted for recycling so they’re still diverting from landfill, technically. Eventually they will have to have organics containers in the near future.
Great video, really cool at the end seeing the individual parts of the truck lift up and be emptied into the big front lift bucket. Keep up the great work!
Hello. I have some questions about newport trash that I had after watching the videos again. What happened to Nathan and Craig? Why didn't Scott show up more? I remember Scott last appeared with Art in truck 05. About that truck, when was he retired? What happened to the crew members? What happened to Marc? When did Kelly retire and what happened to him after retirement? What happened to the trucks that went to CR&R? Do you have unpublished videos of Newport? (I ask because in some compilations videos appear that are not on RUclips, sorry if it's nosy) What happened to trucks 5029 and 5025? 29 was retired and 25 continued until the end of Newport, but what happened to them 2 after Newport? They were my favorites. What happened to Pablo and the other temps? Why didn't the 5026 and 5027 trucks appear more after the CNB packer mix? And finally, were you not able to recover the videos that disappeared thanks to hackers? Sorry for so many questions, I have doubts after watching the videos after several years. Thank you Edit: sorry if the translation is bad, I don't speak English but one day I saw your videos and I loved them, thank you for filming all that in Newport
Wow that’s a lot of questions 🤪 Everything you’ve seen posted from way back is all I have from that organization. Scott was a temp, Nathan was eventually let go by the city, Kelly had an injury and retired from there, the temps all went to CR&R in 2014 and quit a few months after. Marc was practically dying at the time the city stopped doing their own residential trash, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he had passed shortly after, hearing all the unfortunate updates in Spring 2014. Most of those workers are long retired by now and their whereabouts today are mostly unknown. However I do know that Jim’s last known location was Texas or Idaho at one point. KC has since passed away, according to a comment by his son on one of my videos. All the trucks that went to CR&R were used until they couldn’t be used anymore.
@@94tristen_thetrashman I can't believe KC passed away, he was a great guy, let's hope he's in a better place. And I hope that one day Marc will reappear and be healthy. I wanted to see more of Nathan. I would have liked to see a truck with Nathan and Ryan as a crew. I remember seeing a recent video of one of the Peterbilt CNGs, I don't know if it is 26 or 27, but it seems to be still active, I also saw that the amrep are still being used. Let's hope that Jim, the others and retirees like Stephen live their lives normally. Thank you very much for answering. And thank you very much for recording these great guys for so many years.
Cool to see little hole in the wall routes where recycle and compost ordinances have slipped through the cracks. Cool set for a great POV.
