In Harambe's incident, the child's parents were the problem, they didn't keep their eyes on their child, but Harambe had to be punished for terrible parents, it's horrible

I totally agree. The whole "save the children" attitude really bothers me in situations like these. Save the children? What about the innocent animal...? Do they not matter at all? Ridiculous.

If I had a nickel for every time a bird species went extinct at the Cincinnati Zoo, I'd have 2 nickels...which isn't a lot, but its interesting that it happened twice
I think both were just coincidence considering they were the last of their kind.
Tucker is not actually Fiona's father. His name was Henry and he passed away in Oct 2017. Tucker was brought in as a companion for the mother, Bibi, and sired the most recent baby, Fritz. Tucker is a true gentle giant. Thanks for a great video! This zoo has always been on my bucket list.

The Cincinnati Zoo is a great zoo. It's early in the year to tell at this point, but they do a beautiful job with the Botanical side of things as well. You got some great shots of the hippos- I went once when Fiona was a lot smaller and it was almost impossible to get close to the glass with how many people were there.

I was pleasantly surprised at this zoo. Wonderful presentation of the animals. Like you said, nothing flashy and that made it perfect. I live about 7 miles from the Philadelphia Zoo and I have only been there twice. It's just to big and can never find what animal you are looking for. In Norristown,PA we have a wonderful zoo and the name of it is Elmwood Park Zoo. I highly recommend this Zoo to anyone. You will not be disappointed
Our zoo (Cincinnati), isn't super flashy because our mission speaks for itself and we have awesome events that bring people in 😏

Thank you for this! In the middle of the pandemic. The Cincinnati Zoo did Facebook livestreams with some of the animals. My kids and I really looked forward to them to break up our virtual learning days. Looks like a really nice zoo.

Jacob, have you ever been to Metropolis, Illinois to see the Superman statue, Superman Museum, and Superman Celebration festival every June? I also recommend Chester, Illinois with its Popeye character statues, Spinach Can Collectibles store and museum, and Popeye's Fall Festival.

This was so awesome and looked like pure fun. Animals are the greatest so more animal adventures would be greatly appreciated. We are lucky enough to feed buffalo and there's nothing like it.
Ohio has the best zoos! Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland, and Toledo! All worth checking out, but I'm probably biased 😉

If you haven’t already, please visit the Denver Zoo someday! The Denver Zoo became the first zoo in the United States to use naturalistic zoo enclosures rather than cages with bars.
My husband and I have visited the Denver aquarium. It was awesome!!!
Thanks for the video. I visited this zoo in 1989 on a summer road trip with my grandparents. Sadly, the only memory I have of the zoo is getting a Far Side book at a gift shop.

The Phoenix Zoo is pretty awesome. A place called Out of Africa in Sedona AZ is really cool too. It's not a zoo, it's a conservation center.

There was a Planet Zoo series where they used the Cincinnati Zoo as inspiration for the zoo's layout
got scared about that tortoise but apparently tortoises and turtles sleep/relax in weird ways. the sprawled out position is mostly for them to gather more heat :D

If you ever go further north Cleveland has a really good zoo as well. They have a jungle exhibit, Snow leopard exhibit and during the summertime they have a thing called the Asian lantern festival. Just really need a decorate the whole zoo and Asian themed lanterns.

Cincinnati zoo is my favorite zoo ever. The grounds are beautiful later in the year when all the plants bloom and flower. Tons of other things you may or may not have seen. And you have to get the blue ice cream next time. Hope you enjoyed your time here in Cincinnati

You need to check out the Columbus Zoo outside of Columbus Ohio. They to have the rescue manatee program. Have always loved the Cincinnati Zoo as well. Its always hard to decide which one to go to!
Why they didnt tranquilize Harambe is BEYOND me, now hiw the child got into the enclosure in the first place is another compelling question!!!! The enclosure obviously was inadequate n so were the parents!!!

Visit Newport Aquarium, Kentucky
As a person who was born and raised in Cincinnati, I love our Zoo..It is always voted the best Zoo in all America and it is. It's also called the sexiest Zoo due to all the babies being born there. It used to have rides, years ago..They have changed things there so many times over the years.
San Diego zoo is always voted #1 zoo in America and the world. It is flashy and very expensive.

I was born and spent my childhood in Cincinnati. The Zoo was one of my most favorite places to visit as a kid, and anytime I can get back there to visit I always make time for a zoo visit! I saw Fiona and Bibi in 2018 but haven't been able to see Fritz and Tucker yet. I hope to do that soon!
