So to make this work in slow-motion they must have shot this video in real-time with the song playing at 2x speed so when they play it back at half speed the words they are mouthing are on cue and the hula hoop is running in slo-mo. We'll done !!
I was diagnosed with bad depression at the time this song came out, i used to listen to it every single day. I loved it and it made me feel nice, i still love this song to this day even though it brings back a lot of bad memories of that time. Very nostalgic ❤️

What's impressive is that it was filmed in slow motion, but the lyrics add up. Which means they had to lipsynch and dance at 2x speed.

Fantastic song. Mesmerizing video, not just for the hula hooping -- everything. The speed, the movement of subject and camera and environment. An uncommon video that doesn't just complement its song, but fuses with it.
I played it at 2x speed to see what it looks like realistically and it looks so cool! But the slow-mo was perfect for this video
