@@CD-er8kj I saw him explain someplace that the more zones you discover the more animals spawn or the easier it is to locate animals (i couldnt tell you exactly) but for me the amount of rares and stuff have been incresaing a lot as I have been focusing on finding zones. For instance my successrate in areas where I have plenty zones discovered is waaayy higher than in areaes i dont go to often. Though this does not really explain it for the beginner series i think that is the case for his main save
I wish they would add in fawns and smaller bucks like spikes and such i know it would probably be a good bit of work but i think it would be really cool
Yeah things have definitely changed my calls don't work as well as yours do and spine shots with the 270 with soft points will not drop a moose for me at under 150 yards
@@Flintergaming thanks for the quick reply man and the great advice just got the game a week ago and loving it so far any way you could make a video explaining noise and how it works I used to use the 4x4 to get from place to place and would never see a thing would set up the tent put the tree stand up at a feeding zone and nap to 10 minutes before time of feeding time and wouldn't get nothing going from it I started walking around and I'm seeing much more also noise meter is the same a full pace walking crouching and crawling??? Any difference when stalking

I love the new scoring system, spine shots dont work but quick kill doesnt matter for scoring, only cash xp and weapon score. You can use a 270 single lung on a moose and get full scorre with 0% quick kill which I think is amazing.

Xbox has been having problems with hits doing nothing. Reboot from settings and it clears up. You know it's the glitch when you see the animal flinch but you can't find the blood trail
As an Xbox player, the bullet don’t hit where I aim, even from close so it’s not bullet drop. I shot at a bears spine today (I’m a starter using the starter rifle) the bear was standing vertical so drop not a problem and it ends up on the side. I killed it after but it’s not as bad as I’ve heard about Xbox penetration/aim glitches.

I got a head shot at 213 meters on a moose with the .243 one shot kill. It was great! Although my kills are far and few it’s still fun. I saw a bear but never got close enough.
You just showed me that u have like multiple menus in Perks and Skills. I upgraded all rifle and stalker skills/perks and was like why am I getting more points xd
Just go for them if it's straight on not broadside or don't go for it because neck is easy because you just aim in the middle of the neck and then when there broadside just go for spine
Meanwhile, it's 5 months later and the game is packed with these "minor" glitches. I bought this game to play with my friend and having to rehost the game constantly gets old reaaaal fast :-(
the same glitch happened except it was for moose, i would run up on them and try to go guns blazing then they would run then freeze, and just kept doing that until my disc broke and now i can’t play it anymore.
Based on the developer's 2019 comments on Reddit, the spine shot mechanism has been changed. There is now a spinal cord in the model that's an insta-kill but much harder to hit. If you miss that, it's a vertebrae hit which is non-vital. The new meta is organ hits - double lung or heart are apparently best.

Donald J. Trump. I got where I quit the game out and it fixes that problem for me
Shutting down from the settings fixes this.
Xbox is definitely messed up but closing out the game usually works for me

The glitched elk are actually typical for the latest update. I got 5 bison and 3 foxes from it earlier.

spine shots dont work in game anymore, you want a heart shot to drop a moose with the .270
@@Flintergaming thanks for the quick reply man and the great advice just got the game a week ago and loving it so far any way you could make a video explaining noise and how it works I used to use the 4x4 to get from place to place and would never see a thing would set up the tent put the tree stand up at a feeding zone and nap to 10 minutes before time of feeding time and wouldn't get nothing going from it I started walking around and I'm seeing much more also noise meter is the same a full pace walking crouching and crawling??? I just downloaded this in early 2020 and ive tried the spine shot, maybe its my incompetence but i cant seem to get it to work
Apparently the spine shot has been nerfed and you need to go for organs instead. Double lung or heart seem to be the way to go now.

Yes, if you soley hit spine it won’t count entirely as a vital shot. Gotta get lungs as well if you want it to work
