How time had gone by quickly and slowly at the same time. I remember when I started watching your videos last December in despair, depressed, hopeless and in sadness. I felt so alone and the poems and excerpts that you guys would incorporate in your videos brought me so much comfort. It was a glimmer of hope in those dark times as I had then madly started to watch off your videos! 12 months have come and gone. While I am m still healing, I can say I am watching this December video with a bit more lightness than 12 months ago. I just wanted to start off by saying that you guys are amazing! Your videos give me so much comfort and I watch you guys after every shift to unwind. In regards to deciding whether or not you should do Paris Fashion week or New York fashion week, I know it can be daunting deciding what route will leads you towards more opportunities. And I know that it’s true, that if you did go to New York, you can definitely open yourself up to new relationships that you can make with other brands and helps you connect with other people as well. I think in this career, it would definitely be good to do that. However, I think in my opinion the best course of action would to definitely go to Paris Fashion week come January. A previous comment mention that it could definitely strengthen your relationship you have with the brands you are currently with, and I whole heartedly agree. Because think of it this way, you have a good foundation with these companies, and they have built a mutual trust with you. They say good things come to those who wait, and over the years you’ve managed to build so many connections in different cities with different brands just by being yourselves, putting yourself out there and putting in the work. New York will come and bring you those opportunities that are especially meant for you. You may find that the connections you have will also lead you towards where you want to be moving forward. The universe will pull you in that direction when you least expect it. I say, put your intentions forward, strengthen your connections that you have, while taking the opportunity to appreciate things in your personal lives that are happening now. You are continuously growing and learning in your journey, and maybe New York or any other fashion shows that you may be looking into as well, will come to you when you’ve taken that time. For now, honour yourselves and give yourself some time to truly appreciate the time you have now so that you don’t overwhelm yourselves and burning out.
