- How To Unlock Cayo Perico in GTA Online Free Roam!
Steps to Free Roam Cayo Perico in GTA Online:
Step 1: Start a "Gather Intel" heist mission
Step 2: Arrive at Cayo Perico and leave the dance party
Step 3: Head to a nearby camera and get spotted 2-3 times
Step 4: On the final return pull out the "sightseer" app on your phone as you get spotted.
This glitches GTA Online and causes your player to stay on the island instead of being kicked off.
Rockstar Games added Cayo Perico in GTA Online but removed the ability to freely expore Cayo Perico in GTA 5... Well today I am going to show you How To UNLOCK Cayo Perico in Free Roam GTA Online! This GTA Online glitch will allow you to free roam Cayo Perico and all its glory, secrets, and much more!

And they dont care for actually having a map expansion and if they did care they would add to both online and single player for free roam so like you have to complete the mission then you can unlock the island and what would be cool is after you do the mission it actually effects the owner in way were he leaves you can then free roam but in single player might have to worry about security because online and single player are both not connected if that makes sense
Maybe even finally listen to all the people complaining for the lack of exploration or content for singleplayer as well also I still wish they would let us free roam north yankton that would be cool

@@ThatDespairGirl sad truth is they dont even care either anything that helps them make a buck or 2 doesn't matter to them they sort of abandoned singleplayer as well wish they actually cared though because you would think for a 7 year old map that there would probably be 2 more extra maps added in game that you could explore rather it be through loading screen to another completely separate map or map on the other side of Los Santos featuring San fierro basically San Francisco from the old San andreas really if you think about there missing a couple more old counties and the other big city like San fierro and the golden gate bridge which would've been pretty cool they even had north yankton in the first mission were you are in the mid west assuming real life Minnesota or another state but the they decided not to let that map be accessible without mods or glitches is very annoying, not trying to complain but for the past year or couple of years I seen other games that had way bigger maps then rockstar ever did there's even a game that has a huge map for xbox 360 and the ps3 forgot what the game is called but they even had a map that was 5 times bigger then San Andreas or something, anyway it's best not to get you're Hope's up I just learn not expect much from rockstar at this point as they dont care and they only want money, and money and more money

WTF did Rockstar not allow us to go to the island in free mode!!!? - and why do you have to buy a stupidly expensive submarine to do a small stupid mission in a island you cant even go in outside of mission - the whole update is a COMPLETE LET DOWN !!! I would go far enough as to say Disaster !!! The Casino update was at least a new location on map in FREE MODE in which you didn't have to buy any stupid thing to access casino , that being the penthouses , but you could still enter the casino even if you didn't buy the damn penthouses !!
Furthermore , Why the hell would we wanna buy a submarine just to travel to a island which is very small and has guards everywhere which will try and kill you in certain areas - wtf !!! Completely dosen't make it fun to explore at all !. What people who play GTA WANTED IN THIS NEW UPDATE IS -
A. Purchasable new mansions within Los Santos
B. New Restaurants / Bars
C. The bowling alley returns ( last seen in GTA 4 )
D. Accessible inside hospital ( last seen in GTA 4 )
E. Accessible Inside Airport
F. New areas in the map to explore
G. A new ISLAND YOU CAN ACTUALLY FLY TO AT NO COST FROM FREE MODE WHICH IS NOT CONNECTED TO A MISSION !

I found that yesterday lol I got stuck inside the tank..😅 there is also a couple plane wrecks and drgug smuggling boats sunken.

I agree that the island isn't made very well, seems lazy and/or rushed. It's nothing compared to Guarma. But I guess they only expected people to go there once, or since GTA Online is just a cash cow they didn't really give a crap. It shows exactly where Rockstar stands these days imo.
It's patched now I had free mode but I was stuck on the cameras but on the normal POV and u can't hear anything and u can't turn them off and u can't go in the compound or u will get caught by a search helicopter

Oh boy...you glitched the game to get a pathetic free roam. You are still by yourself...you can’t use all your weapons and you can’t call for your vehicles. So, it’s still not free roam...especially since you can’t explore the compound. All you did was break the game. For it to be free mode, Rockstar needs to unlock it on their end. What a waste!

I wanna know how to go to cayo perico without doing the heist. (I'm too poor to get the money to do it.)
I made it into the compound and el Rubio office. Parked a truck by the wall, used my atomizer pointed to the roof of the vehicle. It through Mr over the wall, lol.
Getting out is possible problem, lol
I drove a boat back to LS, lol. Just headed north.
I just waited to heli spawned and opened the hacked camera and Voilà!
We shouldn't even have to do a glitch to do this it should already be a feature

Woah I legit almost accidentally discovered this when checking out the new update and returning to Cayo Perico in order to find more things I somehow missed, but basically I was checking the Sightseer app cameras whilst behind the guard hut at the first/main checkpoint gates, and got caught by the guards somehow, which caused a glitched out cutscene of having the static screen effect from switching cams, and somehow my character had a parachute on as if I had fallen through the map!? seemed like the only explanation for the random parachute backpack suddenly, but after that things continued as normal, but uhh yeah crazy to think I could've potentially 'unlocked' the island for 'free roam' if I had tried that again a few times😮 hopefully this doesn't get patched before I can try it again sometime, would be neat to roam around a bit without the annoying guards there to catch you!👍

I got into the compound after doing this trick you showed. I parked the black van by the wall where the gate is broke at the top then I used my up-n-atomizer and shot the ground next to the van while standing on top and I flew over and landed inside.

You can go in the mansion by climbing up the big tower in the middle of the island and jumping off of it. Then you can land inside it

If you park a tall car next to a grappling place them u can launch urself into his compound with up an atomizer

An easier way to freeroam cayo perico: ( YOU NEED A FRIEND) So you want to get caught excatctly 3 times. This is where your friend comes into point) Then you need your friend to get thrown of the island while you've got your phone up. If this doesn't work, they may of patched it.
