Seems promising👍 I’ve seen hummingbirds in my yard a few times now, but my husband is never around when they stop by. He has started joking with me that he doesn’t believe me. This could solve the problem😁
Pretty cool :) Hey, so you guys do have more songbirds and Warblers than we do in Nor Cal, however we have LOTS of Hummers all year long :) And we have nectar feeders all the way around the house. 2 Winters ago (December) we had probably 200 of them hitting our feeders, sometimes 10 on a feeder with 10 ports, at one time :) We mostly get Anna's, but a few Allan's, Black chinned, and Rufous. We also get Caliope in the Sierra's :) LOVE Hummers :)
Derek if you want to see different hummingbirds call and talk to the Patton's in Patagonia Arizona see if they will let you put up that feature to see what really shows up . And as far as the red dye the Cornell Lab Of Ornitology they always tell everyone to never put in any kind of coloring in the sugar water it breaks down the intestinal track of the hummingbird and it will kill them .
You can use code BADGERLAND for 10% off on the feeder until 7/31/2024 (As Amazon Associates we do earn from qualifying purchases): amzn.to/3VS4o7i
