    I've watch this video a few times over the past few years. Confused. After getting into vert kicking a year ago, I now understand this trick thanks to your video. Cant believe it, im drilling the steps now much closer to getting it

    This is the best video I have seen on Raiz, You have cleared the most important doubt, you clarified that its the first leg that kicks and second follows, I was doing this mistake and never got it but today I finally did it...keep up the good work !!

    Brandon, I believe stretching helps a lot in doing any tricking move. I would just make sure to stretch a lot before any trick session. Before you know it you'll be doing splits haha

    I feel like you'll break your balance and go on the loor if you hit the top part of the opponent's shoulder or arms.

    this seems like a butterfly kick with a tornado kick set up. is that a good way to think of it?

    • @connorwsimon
      @connorwsimon  10 лет назад +2

      No, Not really I think of it more as a inverted tornado kick. Hope you liked the video!

      That is not possible because the momentum is gonna bring you UP and not down unless you weigh 5,000lbs.
      I suggest doing it on mats or somewhere you feel comfortable, all you need is to lose your anxiety.

  • @randonisi
    @randonisi 9 лет назад

    How tall are you and how high is that roof? Just wondering cause i bought mats so i could start tricking indoors. I'm not sure if i have enough room (height wise) to do certain tricks in my basement.

    • @connorwsimon
      @connorwsimon  9 лет назад

      I would say it depends my basement is about 8 feet tall and i'm 5"8 I can cork and stuff down there

    • @randonisi
      @randonisi 9 лет назад

      ahh sweet thanks. i'm only 5'6-7" while my basement is slightly less than 8 ft so i think i could practice down there, except for maybe backflips cause those seem to drive my feet higher into the air

    • @connorwsimon
      @connorwsimon  9 лет назад +1

      lol i can back flip down there its not as bad as you think

    • @randonisi
      @randonisi 9 лет назад +1

      ahh okay, i'm just scared of scraping my feet on our popcorn roof, especially since i havnt even gotten my backflip down yet. thanks for the quick response! =)

    isn't this called the butterfly kick?

    • @PerryBattles
      @PerryBattles 8 лет назад

      +axel fire No, but it's really close. For a butterfly kick, you don't step first -- you twist and your leg goes straight up into a kick.

    • @arzo9986
      @arzo9986 8 лет назад +1

      it's like the opposite. a butterfly you face the ground a raiz you face up while in the air
