Canned tomatoes, flour and baking supplies, frozen vegetables, dairy products especially butter, peanut butter and nut butters, rice and grain alternatives. You are welcome!
I know Monday people were shopping for hurricane victims, but I stopped at Walmart to pick up something for my husband and not 1 jar of peanut butter, no canned Chef Boyardee stuff if people buy that, little canned meats, flour and sugar. I didn't need those items, but I began to think about families that need this but can't get it.
I get you don’t bake. I don’t get your THE spokesperson/authority regarding what is good for Every body. Whatever your eating may be fueling a filter of grandiosity or something like that…minimally the view point is culturally centric. Eat what makes you feel good. Maybe stay in your own lane…💁🏻♀️
m, interesting. I've had no problem storing flour (basic white flour) at room temperature in my pantry for, literally, years. There's also the option of placing the flour in a tin can & storing it in the refrigerator or freezer.
You can't blame people for stocking up while telling them to stock up! All of these shortages have been called-for for the last 4-5 years. There is a war on food.
"Not true"? "Lies"? Seriously? Do you have the slightest clue what's happening in the world right now? We're on the verge of major conflicts here in the US, not to mention all the w@rs abroad. There are millions of illeg@ls flooding the country, triggering an unprecedented demand on our limited resources. Plus, we are just 30 hours away from a massive strike by longshoremen and dock workers and closures of ports- you know, the people that help keep all the imported goods, including foods, stocked on store shelves all over the country. Not to mention all the insanity surrounding the current political drama. All this plus the increased crazy weather directly impacting food crops all over the world is creating a perfect storm for food shortages globally. And the long list of factors negatively impacting all these variables just keeps growing exponentially. So opting to stick your head in the sand and claim these are "lies" or "not true" only highlights your own ignorance. You'll find all this out from experience soon enough.

It's a really good idea to stock up on anything you like and has a decent shelf life...things are only going to go up in price!
Sad but true
Actually, food prices have been going down pretty steadily for the last year now…
@mamabear1135 maybe where you live, where I live, things have only gone up.
@@mamabear1135Where?
@@mamabear1135I’d love to know where prices are going down.
I grow and can my own tomatoes.
It’s ok if they go down. We’re done with excessive poisonous foods. We need mom and pop shops with real food!
I won't miss baking supplies. I don't bake. Those foods are bad for people anyway. (Jan Griffiths).
I get raw sugar.other healthy bake stuff.in the stores not healthy
😅😅😅

@@shanenice5380 Raw sugar is still sugar. Still bad. (Jan Griffiths).
Freeze Italian bread and u can freeze white bread we can use pillsbury dough boy. Beans. Everything frozen peanut butter. Etc
i've noticed a couple stores keep running out of regular tomato juice. I've wondered why. And butter is expensive enough! oh my
Who are you? And where did you get this information from?
The problem with these things most have a very short shelf life! Flour doesn’t keep that long before it goes bad and isn’t any good after that!

I bake perfect bread & cakes with unbleached, plain flour that is 2yrs old.
