👋Hi there, Bit of a Wander! haha I do like the name!
I just found your channel by sheer accident & when I checked it out, I thought to watch the entire video & so glad I did. It's really enjoyable & wonderful from start to finish!
As a lover of Japan & Japanese culture & a 3 time prior visitor to beautiful Japan, this really captured my attention & my imagination.
My husband's never visited but always longed to, so we'll book a trip to go, for some time next year.
I can speak some Japanese, but I know I must do some more lessons, prior to revisiting.
I usually visit South Korea & Japan during the same trip, as it makes sense to kill two birds with one stone.
The cleanliness, the awesome technology, the interesting architecture abound, both historic & modern, plus, Japan's order & the politeness & kindness of it's inhabitants, never ceases to amaze me.
Japan is a safe country, when compared on a global scale & is truly a amazing & eye opening country & in a league all it's own!
I always tell people I meet, that if they are able to travel & if they enjoy visiting different countries, then Japan ought be on their bucket list of countries to visit.
I always mention heading to a good, local bakery & trying out the many awesome baked goods. So many varieties of delicious baked goods on offer & many with a wonderfully traditional Japanese touch!
One of my favourites is the light & jiggly Japanese Cheesecake. It's so fluffy, it's amazing & is very delicious!
I used to go during the Winter months & I'd go to watch the cross country skiing. The fine powder snow is so perfect for that & boy does Japan receive a nice & thick blanket of Winter snow.
I don't think too many "non-visitors' to Japan actually know about or realise, the sheer amount of snow that Japan actually receives & even in comparison to many European countries. When it happens, it's just absolutely stunning abound!! So magical & like a picture perfect postcard.
I love many of Japan's regions during the Winter months, but one of my all time favourite snowy wonderlands is, Shirakawa-go, Gifu. Absolutely perfect & beautiful, during the snowy Winter months!
I also love a beautiful, good old fashioned Japanese Tea Ceremony & I love visiting varying artists & artisan workers, just doing what they do best/make best & doing their very best, to maintain & to keep their rich & vibrant history/culture alive & kicking.
IMPO & humble opinion, I would highly recommend Kobe if you're visiting Japan for the first time. It's a truly unique & beautiful place.
Thank you for sharing your journeys with your viewers.🙏

We have a winner 🎉 Best ropeway I've seen in Japan... And I've seen a lot of videos.
BTW I flinched everytime someone said how modern Kobe is
Kobe was decimated by an earthquake about 30 years ago ... oops

I should add, I do hope that you viewer numbers, likes & subscribes increase in time, as you do deserve it.
Ps. I do agree with your sentiments here. Personally, I don't ever follow the crowds, but I always take the "off the beaten path" & I'm never ever sorry that I did!
The same goes for restaurants. I always find one "away" from the tourist hot spots.
There, the food's always better/tastier & also much less pricey.

Watching your videos is like meditating.. I think the old guy in the MAGA hat looked like he was trying to get away from you. Another beautiful city.
