Grew up in SoCal and went to Disneyland a lot in the 70s-80s. The "Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln" exhibit is where you would head if you needed a place to sit down for a while and get out of the heat (The Tiki Room, the Mark Twain/Columbia, and the Golden Horseshoe Revue were also good when you were tired, though those almost always had lines or a wait-time. "Mr. Lincoln" was usually sparsely attended and you could walk right into the ride building, where they had early Disney cartoons to watch before the doors opened for the show). The Lincoln audioanimatronic was simultaneously fascinating and a bit creepy; I reckon it was my first exposure to the "uncanny valley", and maybe even one of the beginning points of that phenomenon. I didn't take the time to see it when i went to Disneyland for the first time 3 years ago but if i ever make it back there some day then i'll definitely check it out to get a slice of some good old Disney history.

For the sake of our friends not stateside: The Gettysburg Address is famously short. As far as memorizing a historic speech goes, it's gotta be the equivalent of "Jesus wept."
Shame we didn't mention the special clear hydraulic fluid used in AA's due to the "test mishap" where Lincoln appeared to be shot in the chest due to a leak...
Mike Sweeney well the Trump animatronic looks even less like him, he looks like they already sculpted Hillary's head and just put a cheap wig on it and slapped it on top of a man's body.
Like most of his face is accurate but like what happened to his lips? Obama never had perked lips and never really did that. How do you get that wrong like they could probably go get 3D scans of the man himself.
I have been to Disney land three times, and I still have never had the chance to experience this ride, I need to solve that next time I go to the park.

Before the Internet, and when nationwide, let alone world wide, television was quite difficult, worlds fairs were held to allow companies to demonstrate great accomplishments and feats in technology to the world, in hopes of either gaining customers or investors. In this day in age, world fairs are no longer needed due to how simple and inexpensive it is to spread and market your ideas to a wide majority of people.
The world fair still exists btw, it's just way less important these days. Back in the day it used to be a way for countries and others to gain prestige by showing off but I suspect with the rapid rise of mass media that has become more and more irrelevant since countries have a way more direct way to shape their image.

Though I am dissapointed in the quality of animatronic decreasing between Obama and Trump. Obama looks nice, but trump looks pretty bad. The pre-made Hillary one is a pretty much circulated rumor, and I wouldn't be suprised if it is confirmed one day. Though I'm sure not by Disney themselves, as they tend to avoid politics in parks for obvious reasons. Anyway, good video.

Regardless of your opinion of the current administration, you really should have put Trump's speech as it is the current one being played at Hall of Presidents at the time of your video, or just cut the presidential speeches out of your video at all. Any creative choice that will risk alienating half of your fans is not worth it. I enjoyed your video, but your decision based on your opinion has costed a Like from me, however I will not leave a Dislike either.
