Sir,you are helping me to learn English and how to pronounce the words.Thank you so much sir.Sir, tomorrow l am going to attend B.Ed entrance exam wish me sir, from lndia.
Hello Connor. Thanks for your work, this is my favorite podcast to practice my english. About this theme i think that you must to see the history. The name "America" it's for Americo Vespucci un honor for the Colon when arrived for the firts time in the continent, in south América. For this reason we think that the term America is for the south not for the north, thats the true. Thanks!
This is a pretty interesting podcast I have to say. Something I would like to add up is that in some countries in Latam America such as Colombia or Argentina, we call people from US as "gringos"
In Spain we refer to people from the US like "estadounidense". Some times we use the english term "yakee" that is not corect, because hthis is the term for peoplo from a parte of the coutry. Also some peoplo from the rest of America, call people from the US "gringo" that usually has a bad sense. This term it's not used in Spain at less not usually used
I have some questions. Why people from the US refer to themself American and not North-American? Second question: for people from the US, Mexicans are Americans (because Mexico is in North America, like the US)?
It's an interesting topic. Thanks for your video! Both continents have the "same name". I suppose it's the root of the problem. But i think US dominates in correct names.
Hi Conner! Do you have any episode that you talk about how to use this podcast better way? I want to be a member but I have this doubt! Thanks! Brazil!
It's confiusing because your country and the continent have the same name. I'm mexican because of my country and mexiquense because of my State, because they have the same name and it's also a little confiusing. You are american for your country and american for your continent.
