    Please dont take this the wrong way. But I think only 1 person should be running the hydraulics with a machine like you have its only going to 1 second for one of you to lose a finger and I dont want that to happen you are great people. I almost lost my thumb about 20- years ago doing this with a much slower spiltter than god the round was on a angle my thumb looks funny now if I ever run into you I will show it to you please be safe. I have had a processor for 11 years and not got hurt yet have done 80 dump trailer loads so far this year 4 face cords per trailer. love you 2 keep the videos coming

    Jeff , you "operate a wicked picaroon with a precision I've never seen".
    You and Patty work together with a smooth efficiency, as if you are one person.
    It makes me smile to see what you can put out with that 37D.
    Your "splitting design and set up" is just brilliant.
    This proves one doesnt really need a processor, when you do everything perfectly.
    Thanks for the great content and entertainment.
    You and Patty rank in the top 5 for "how to do firewood right".
    Andrew Easton should be very proud how well you represent his machines!

    The 12 way would probably work pretty good for most of your logs, we hardly ever have to resplit using it and it makes an awesome mix. I have the 6 and 8 way but I've never used them. That 37 D is a beast, could'nt swing it, had to throttle back to the 22-28 but still plenty happy. That's a really nice set up you guys, nice job.

    • @mountaintopoutdoors
      @mountaintopoutdoors  Год назад

      Thank you. We had the 22-28 as well with the 12 way. It does work very well with nice straight grain logs. Makes wood very fast. Have a great day

    Nice! That wedge needs some vertical wings in between the top horizontal ones. Debating to go to Bunyan again this year, my ULTRA is done and waiting for a lift to PA and was debating asking if Eastonmade would just bring it to the show and maybe give my shipping fee back.

    Watching this video I did notice that Patty turned away from the machine once or twice. I wouldn't do that only because sometimes the splits come back at you. Looking out for your safety :) Enjoyed this and best of luck, have fun at Paul Bunyan.
