Hi guys, so nice to have you back again today. It is day 80 of #the100dayproject, and I was inspired by Julie to make "Twinchies". They are small 2"x2" junkjournal embellishments. Very fun and easy to make, using scraps and some bits and bobs I might've never used in a project.

I came from the mixed media card making world. But when I transitioned into junk journals, I thought, oh I hope I’m not breaking any rules. Finally realized the Craft Police weren’t going to show up. Funny how we can put restrictions on ourselves. My only problem now, is my non-crafty friends don’t quite understand junk journals. I’ve tried explaining it’s a card with more pages. Now they worry if I’ll get mad if they don’t journal and just display as a piece of art.

It’s so very difficult to explain “junkjournal” to people who are not crafters themselves. I just say: some sort of scrapbooking , diary keeping . Most of them still don’t understand 😂

I also come from mixed media and still use it. I cant help myself! I love adding layers and texture to everything!

@@amandachilvers3631 I love layering. The more the better. I like using texture paste (started making my own) thru stencils, then letting watered down acrylics move over or around.

Very beautiful twinchies, I also never heard off them.
So cute to hear you saying….oh I have a lot…but hardly ever use them….I am also like that, I have lots off wood embellishments ( because I once was in a design team for those thingies) and I also have lots off buttons, bingo pieces, eyelash trim, eyelets, flowers, brads and so and so on…oh a shame, I also hardly ever use them😅😅😩😩🤣🤣🤪🤪
Such things you can use in a great manor on inches, twinchies or even thrinchies or fourchies or 😂😂😂😂
And no I haven’t got a drink….I never drink alcohol I am just happy to see you use all those things❤️👍🏻❤️👍🏻

I have a glue gun like yours and it is terrible for just dripping..So you named it well. I go to use it and I have to get a new glue stick all the glue has melted on my desk..stupid thing. Twinchies haha was wondering what you where talking about.. now I know..pretty cute little things
