If you have your own truck and you want to get more information about working at the same company I do then please email safety@srologistics.com and tell them Trucker Todd sent you.
Are you serious? I thought $400 was crazy high. I would’ve just busted the glass and bought another window. It might have been cheaper. Thanks for the super chat by the way too.
@truckertoddllc I was thinking about busting the window but I would have definitely been called into safety, could have done a break down call but everything was in the truck, hopefully i will get reimbursed currently waiting for their response, company driver here , and your welcome Todd
I had that happen last year just north of Shreveport, Louisiana on an exit ramp. I also managed to lock my phone inside the truck. I had to do the walk of shame into town and found a police officer to help. He called a locksmith and $500 later I was back in my truck. I had spare keys in the truck and finally hid one of them
Dang, I know what you’re saying. After an experience like that, you will never lock your keys in your truck again or at least that’s how I feel about it lol
If you ever buy a newer truck, order it with keyless entry. ( You can lock it with your smart phone and turn on the engine, again with your smart phone)!
Don't beat yourself up to bad. When I driver for Chrysler I had a straight truck with my first automatic. Drove overnight and delivered parts to dealers. I stopped over in Ironton Ohio for a delivery and left it running and in gear I turned around and there it went down the street. The only thing saving it from the Ohio river was a 1 foot curb and it stopped it. Boy talking about crapping your pants.
@ wow that’s crazy. I recently saw a news story where a guy got ran over like that. He tried to catch his truck after it took off and tripped and fell, and his trailer ran over him.
@@truckertoddllc I let it go. I knew the curb was there. I just hoped it stopped it and it did. It rolled maybe 40 yards. No damage to the truck. Probably going 15 mph. It bounced though but no damage

I always have an extra key in my pocket and a key hidden under the hood
Yeah I do too. Just hadn’t had a chance yet since I just got the truck
😂😂😂Thanks! Todd I can't believe that happened to you too this same week it happened to me, paid $579 out of pocket

Happened to me just a few months ago. Guy came out at 4am, within 30 mins of me calling, took him seriously about one minute and he charged me $200.
Happens to the best of us. Always keep a spare on a necklace or hidden on the truck somewhere
I always keep my keys around my neck when I get out of the truck or semi truck
Go big or go home, right? 😂😂
I keep an extra key in my wallet
That’s what I normally do also just barely got this truck and hadn’t got around to it
I locked myself out too lmao

@robertsullivan3877 great idea. That’s the plan in 2-3 years

At least you wasn’t in the snow when that happened it was snowing in Chicago yesterday enough to make the roads slippery
