How does chamber have no counter play? Unless you have such a bad comp that you have no flashes, drones or recon then he’s definitely counterable.
It’s the fact that a good chamber can’t be traded
It's cause of his ability to play off angle with little risk. Yes Jett has the same ability with her dash, but she is a duelist which means she has to take space. Chamber on the other hand is practically meant to be a lurker/flank holder on attack. How do you counterplay a character whose entire job is to play off angles and is practically untradeable ? In Lower ranks chamber has a good chance of wiffing, but higher ranks he's practically always winning his Duels. You literally can't clear him, you can only predict him if he does the same thing round after round.
@@seahawks4life179that’s what a “good” chamber is meant to be. A good cypher needs utility, same as kj, and why can’t chamber be afforded the same level of respect? Especially when chamber just wins duels with aim, since if he’s still effective in high elos where enemies pre aim a lot of angles, that’s just skill diff. Chamber deserves that kill and that’s something he shouldn’t be punished for. Especially when he is his entire set of utility all in one. If a good chamber is winning duels that means it took a lot of effort to build that skill just like other characters, but noo, the idea of a chamber being good at the game or having an impact is cancer for a lot of people.
chamber meta was actually fun tho
genuinely had fun in that meta cause it depended how creative and accurate the chamber was. If he was ass he'd get farmed if he was good it forced me to play more mindfully.
Tbh its unhealthy for the game if iso ults 2/3rds of a site through a wall grabs someone loses the duel and the opponent spawns into instant death with 0 counterplay options😮 even though they killed iso in his ult

Bro meta means broken and unbalanced and he is just mentioning the problems, as riot doesn't know how to perfectly buff an agent so that it is balanced. They just buff an agent that seems to be not played in ranked and vct enough.

If you say chamber and iso are worse than jett, then that just shows you're not deploying your fundamentals properly and have a lack of discipline. You have flashes and smokes to counter chamber and any damaging utility breaks iso shield. Compare that with jett who has a smoke to couner flashes and recons and has her updraft and dash to get out of far worse positions

He acting as if Chamber and Iso are playing against terrorist or something, every single agent have a skill to give them an advantage in a fight anyway, it is not like only Iso and chamber have skill to use and make an advantage
I played valorant for the first time 2 weeks ago after 5 years and 10k hours of apex legends(so I have huge aknowledge about heroes in the games and how their abilities affect core mechanics) and even I'm not good at the game at all it still feels that some characters, especially Iso has too unfair abilities.
If agent like Reyna needs to do a frag to make things work(game praises your mechanical abilities), Iso just having instant advantage by pressing 1 button.
And every game against Chamber getting very stressful just because he always has op or ult if you dont mange to kill him and only way to counter him is smoking most expected positions he can hold.
would you say apex is doing a great job balancing the characters' abilities?(as someone who seldom plays apex, only 200+ hours over the course of 3-4 years) i like how the characters abilities doesnt really determine whether you have the advantage in a gunfight just how you take them. Also i like how the game updated so that it punishes you for not taking fights and turtling around (can only level up evo shields through damage)
@lipton3120 apex never been balanced since its release, especially right now after Conduit appearance and Revenant Ult rework(he's going to be nerfed very soon) Absolutely same problem. Characters can receive instant HP Advantage by pressing one button without any mechanical or tactical action. And as soon as they're nerfed every single weapon ever existed in the game there is only 1-2 weapons playable in every season with fastest ttk(dual Mozambiques for today) Horizon was terrorizing apex for 3 years and she got pushed away only by adding even more broken abilities.

I think Tenz's argument against Chamber being unhealthy is incredibly narrow-minded, and really only perceives situations against him like it were counterstrike.
Chamber's entire kit is specialized to be about making himself the defense, investing the bulk of his kit into making himseld the defensive utility the enemy will likely encounter first.
True as that is, that completely forgets the point of agent utilities, as a whole. Especially most Duelists that have, one way or another, utility that can defect enemy angles to their advantage, like flashes, cover, or other utility.
The argument against Iso is more based. Double tap is kind of too OP, given how a single activation can grant Iso potentially 5 headshots on him worth of saves.
Personally i think just limiting double tap to a single refresh, and giving it a second charge again would be more fair, rather than just giving him an infinitely refreshing single cast.
The only reason tenz is complaining is because im pretty sure he explained one time that in one of his games, he and his team were entrying onto B site long of bind and tenz was killed by the enemy near hooka and after that experience, he used that excuse saying how chamber is gonna be broken, I agree tenz is being narrow minded in this situation and acting kinda salty in a way, chamber isn’t gonna be what he’s like in his prime, he’s only gonna be a bit more lethal than before. I fucking hate how people are complaining about a buff in an agent that ruined their experience but agents like omen who have been meta for so long people pretend he isn’t op or an agent like cypher who was weak at the beginning but as soon as he got his trip rearm buff, people got very excited and pretends he ain’t meta. What a bunch of animals the valorant community has
Chamber is a shadow of his former self and people are still getting ptsd from him. Its actually insane. I agree and think Tenz is being narrowminded because he gets flashbacks to that game on bind whenever chamber is mentioned. Seems like he would rather the agent not exist at all but keep omen and the other favorites in the spotlight

I miss old pre rework ISO. He was ass but at least he was fun. Broken ISO was also fun but he was bad for the game and current ISO is healthier but is also so fucking boring

Have you seen those clips where people who play as chamber can still get killed no matter what. Plus why do you think chamber’s tp is disabled for the rest of the round, you seem to have forgotten that part

He can keep crying. I bet he loved the 3 initiator meta, the most boring meta of all time. Chamber meta was one of the most fun times to play Valorant. I have been saying that Riot should buff Chamber because the game used to be peak during Chamber meta, they finally listened to me. Slowly Chamber and Jett will be back and t0nz will go back to being a trash player

its not even that iso is currently that good, but if your playing against iso he will ALWAYS feel bad to play against, his champ design in itself is just bad. petition to remove the s so his shield doesnt tank 10 rounds every eco.
