I love how this keyboard calls the rhythm variation as "Verse & Chorus" rather than simply "Variation A - B - C - D" seen in later high-end Yamaha PSR models
Still. It;s a Solid Keyboard. Sounds Great frim itls day. I enjoyed it. as i listen to the voices. It seems to me over the years Yamaha Put these classic sounds in the Psr E series. Especially the Piano sounds. I might hunt for one of these classic Arrangers. I love it. So Cool. 8)
I still own a PSR 6000, it was the 2nd keyboard I bought for my daughter (used this a box full of Floppy disc with 80s and 90s hits), but she only used the Piano sound - playing nowadays only classical piano. I still use it today because of the Midi functions to test other equipment - but is now too heavy to take in on gigs.
I would regard the PSR-6000 first actual Yamaha flagship (though i wouldn't agree on the models prior to this one because that was hard to determine). I never understood the PSR-6000 even though it is my most favorite 1990's vintage. It's even more different than the PSR-640 and 740. But yeh you would get to know its a more expanded version of the PSR-6700. This was actually Yamaha's try on the arranger workstation scene at that time.
Cool review, all your vids are great. This really seems a lack lustre keyboard haha. Looks and sounds like yamahas version of the casio mz2000 but without any of the magic and mojo.
Yeah it was great in it’s time, but just average now. You don’t hear people mention the MZ series these days! Interesting boards those ones. Glad you like the channel :)
I don't, sorry. If it has a USB socket then you can control computer software. Then from the computer you can direct midi to another keyboard, but it becomes very inconvenient, complicated and unreliable.
I never understood the PSR-6000. It was really expensive because of the large display, but it didn't sound better than the regular PSR models. That changed a lot with the PSR-8000, which sounds are still used in modern PSRs.
:) Gearfacts
A good instrument. I’ve had loads of keyboards over many years including the stunning PSR-8000. I’m now a proud Genos owner.

Yes, I noticed that too. :-)
I really love thus Keyboard especially the drum kits and the 90s beats!!

I think I’ve reviewed the park-6700 …not sure, there have been so many now
PSR-8000 - style-wise it's equivalent PSR-530, 630, 730. But what equivalent of PSR-6000? PSR-500? 510? 520?
Genos,замечательный инструмент, поздравляю вас!

Спасибо огромное за информацию!С клавишей не получается,а вот батарейку ещё не нашёл
I have a question, does anyone know what similar discs can be used with this model (can you use discs from other models for this psr 6000?)?
Yes, I think that would work
This is out of topic but do u know any way by which i can use my psr e263 as a midi...
I don't, sorry. If it has a USB socket then you can control computer software. Then from the computer you can direct midi to another keyboard, but it becomes very inconvenient, complicated and unreliable.
Can u plsexplain how to menu and language setting in thus keyboard
Amazing
Thanks :)

Yep I agree with that.
The Yamaha psr 6000 came out
In 1994
Is the PSR 8000/9000 better than 6000 in term of sound quality, or just have more sounds?
It just replaces about 80 Sounds with region-specific sounds. The quality is the same, it just depends what sounds you prefer or need.
Is there a way to record the psr e263 directly to a device?
No, the best you could do is use an audio>USB converter
Gearfacts i thought you made a video about the casio wk 500
Oops my bad, it was the WK3500 ...long time ago. How my videos have changed! ruclips.net/video/S9lgXwWcQlM/видео.html
Добрый день!Скажите пожалуйста,сбросились настройки,как восстановить и есть ли в инструменте батарейка поддерживающая память?
Да, внутри есть аккумулятор, сохраняющий память.
Please how do you dual tones?
Gearfacts do you still have the yamaha psr 6000 keyboard
No, I always sell keyboards to get funds for the next review
:) Gearfacts
Is it better than the e463 though?
Yes I agree with TheBradge there.
Minted..
Hi gearfacts you can see my keyboard videos at anytime
The yamaha psr 6000 does sound old
Yes
Scala arabica?
I don’t think so
Pokaż więcej podkładów perkusyjnych
Ese es mejor que el Psr'S 975?
No
Do you speak any spanish or just used the Google translator?
@@angelserrano3655 Only a tiny bit, I used the Google translator in my PSR-s500 review
It is nice you answer also comments in other languages. Thanks.
That is me trying to help other people to learn spanish.
