- This is a complete store update of the Chuck E Cheese’s in Northridge, CA. As mentioned this Chuck e Cheese is currently remodeling to a 2.0  and destroying all of the old artwork and animatronics. This is the last 80s style Chuck e Cheese that hasn’t been remodeled, but that day is changing right now. This is the biggest disappointment in Chuck E. Cheese history For one of the most iconic locations in the world.

Well that’s it. It’s gone now. How depressing is that. Such a shame for the 2.0 now, and at least they still have the arcades, prizes and the food in there at this Chuck E. Cheese. 😔

I recently went to cantonsville Baltimore and filmed a few shows of their cyberamics, in incredibly bad condition, to learn one of my favorite locations is being demolished and replaced with 2.0 saddens me very much
You need to get back here soon! So many rumors are circulating about art/animatronics/signs etc getting saved but because of CEC's track record I won't believe anything until I see it.

My local location in New Jersey is currently under 2.0 but northridge I loved their stage and their posters
I saw the Noah’s Ark ride and that ride based on the show Octonauts that Teresa Gallagher did a voice over. I hope this location you are visiting gets a Numtums kiddie ride that has Bendy Go (Numtum 1) new for the 2.0 remodel.
Instead of having the big screen tv on wall between the 2 emergency doors and put it on the wall across from the animatronics stage. Have booth seating on wall with the 2 emergency exit doors. Extend table seating in same direction as it is now. Tv can be watched and stage show can be watched too. This way they can have new video wall , animatronics and dance floor. This would be a compromise between old set up and new update.

@@ticketmaster1000 The dance floor is installed as well, apparently it’s in a different spot than the original plans showed, and the stage is still there as of now.

This remodel is stupid and is not providing a better experience. They are destroying a great experience that customers were use to receiving. Replacing the animatronics with the big screen tv that features CGI animated Chuck and gang is Stupid and no one wants to watch that. Adding the stupid dance floor eating up space and creating extra noise is not an improvement. I hope this remodel will bite them in the butt and cost them so much money and loss of customers.

I’ll be honest, I like the concept for 2.0 (increasing interaction between the wall around mascot and kids is cool), but DEFINITELY not at the cost of all of this!
2.0 is their downfall and I know it, in the next 5 years 15 max cec wilm go bankrupt actually and never be remembered by humanity

They can't do that corporate is against staff giving out "non merch" to guests it has to be destroyed stored in the back or sent to corporate if its no longer able to be used

Lmao they're gonna go out of business and bankrupt again dance floors are not the answer or future for this franchise they need to get a better corporate and better managing and maybe invest some money into new animatronics don't repair what they have as they're so fucking old that they run on reel to reel but make some new disneyworld style animatronics there's still a market for animatronics entertainment fanily entertainment centers they just don't think there is because the old broken creepy ones they have are nightmarish if they replaced them with brand new ones in the new chuck e cheese style I think it would be a success
Oh yeah I agree. They need to keep some stores nostalgic for the charm and the people who grew up with it or it will become the next generic kids play place like most other businesses.
