Otis Traction Elevators at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Floors 10-15

Notice when I got off on the 15th floor, there was another elevator with no call button. I thought that those are service elevators or crank controlled elevators, but when I went back down to 1, and stopped my camera, those elevators serve floors 1-10. That is how I was thinking.

Why is there a down button on a 1st Floor?

That is not the down button. The upper fixture is actually the keyswitch. That’s just a single terminal call station where are you actually push for up from the lobby.
