A lot of the people in the comments are confusing rail guns, guns of large caliber, tanks with big guns, and mortars with self propelled howitzers. Also, some people are confusing self propelled howitzers with non self propelled howitzers
May I just ask why you keep forgetting the SU-100Y? In videos where you feature tanks of the Soviet Union, you forget that the SU-100Y was a tank destroyer, and in this video, you forget it was also an SPG (Yes, it's both an SPG and a tank destroyer). If you want information, I'll give you some history of it. The SU-100Y is armed with the 130mm B-13 Naval Gun which was intended to destroy Finnish fortifications, but since it was manufactured after the Winter War, it was brought to Kubinka. And when the Germans got to Moscow, it was pressed into service along with the 152mm-gun-armed SU-14. It survived the war and is now at Kubinka Tank Museum. Don't forget it next time. You can find the rest of the information and history somewhere.
You can't really include that, as one it never left the prototype stage, and two what was built during the prototype stage wasn't self propelled, it was just a turret basically. What you see in games is based on the way it's displayed in the British tank museum, where they just kinda slapped it on top of a centurion lower. Really the fv4005 was more about prototyping the gun, rather than a tank. The prototype with an actual hull, (the other was well and truly just a gun) mainly had a hull just to simulate reloading this thing in a closed space. Realistically if the gun had passed testing the vehicle itself would most likely not have had an actual turret.
@@Geniusinventor I imagine what you meant is that some were not made in real life or rather only had a single prototype like the last one (the vid has production numbers you know). However even when we talk prototypes the fv4005 is still way less realistic as an spg as they never even went into the sp part.
