Love coming back to this video especially during quarantine.
Honestly 1 week into year 13 and the stress is real, I don't even know where I want to go anymore lol
Alot of people are like that. Trust me. You're not alone. Hopefully u found out as to what u want to do and that thing makes u happy!
Hope u do well in final year of A levels. 👌👌👌
Yh I get what you mean, no rush, you can always take a gap year
Gheez right before Im starting AS.
👌👌
Thanks for this and the timing of it too, been hoping to work hard in A levels as I'm starting for real. Very helpful and motivating. 👌
Oh I'm happy that I discovered your channel , those are really great advices , thank you 🌸🙏
I'm a 5th year medical student from libya 🇱🇾
Brooooooo I’m so glad I found you, thank youu
Found this video at just the right time, thanks for the advice man!
Great video bro, this will help a lot of people out!
Yh man I hope it will my bro!
so past papers (practice runs), weaknesses are identified, strengthen those weaknesses, go back to the practice papers, rinse and repeat. Very useful video 👍
Thank you once again for the great advice.
Short sweet simple and concise video amazing video
Thanks for this video man, really helpful!
I went into this video because of your accent and how you pronounce the words, mashaallah clear and perfect keep it up bro.
I appreciate that 🙏
Just started year 12 with bio, maths and chem. found this pretty helpful - subbed
Same lol. With French, economics and business and English
How did you get pastpapers for AS dude?
Random 12356
Same lol
@@mahmoudattia6287 thank youuu
Helping me increase the size of my circle of capacity. Thx homie
Thanks for this video! Just started year 12. Hoping to take A-levels seriously cos I didn't really take GCSEs serious. Only revised at the end of year 10 for the mocks then barely revised in year 11 until near the very end. Been hearing from everyone that A-levels are harder so I'm hoping to work harder
what are your grades?
A levels arent harder except for the way questions are asked. However there is a lot more work for having a lot less subjects. I failed my year 12 but continued to year 13 anyway, I was missing motivation and had a distraction but now in making my distraction my future motivation
nLtiro are u high? A levels are harder in every way
@@AliAhmed-gn4fu I do maths computer science and physics, I said the theory isn't harder. But the questions are much harder. Computer science asks weird random questions, maths and physics word them difficultly and have more content
nLtiro what did you get in year 13?
That's an absolute banger❗ Can even adapt these tips and tricks for uni I guess 👊🏼😊
Yh deffo, it’s all transferable tbh
This helped me, thank you.
I really really really like this video bro and I’ll try to do it InshAllah 💛
Bro is it possible to see more vlogs in the uni, because I love those blogs, especially the study with me ones because I’m thinking of coming to St George’s Uni for medicine too!
Yh I’m planning more vlogs for sure
Thanks I am starting my last year in highschool in a week so this video is really helpful
Glad it was useful :))
I love your videos.
amazing vid brudda!
Thanks my bro!
My guyyy 💯thanks bro 😊
Nws 🙏🙏
You are an example of our parents come to this country so you can become a .......... Mashallah brother
Bro I love your videos just wanted to ask as a person going into year 12 how did you manage your time to revise all of your subjects? Keep up the videos bro 🔥 💯
Stay focused in lessons and do 2-3 hrs of study after school should be calm
@@AnasNuurAli thanks bro!
Wait am I the first comment here FINALLY I really needed this vid too coz I am really worried about starting college thanx man
❤️❤️
I’m in year 10 but still helpful as ever
Thank you :)
In year13, I genuinely don’t know how to tackle the wok load it’s already too much and haven’t even learnt year 13 content
Wow ok thank you
🙏🙏
Hello! I have my A2 exams this May June, could you please guide if I should go with he long term method or the intense method.
Id just like to say now, that A levels are really fucking hard but dont worry if you dont do well, i just got my alevels and i did very poorly, i got BDE, however im about to start a foundation year in law leading to further 4 year study at my uni, so despite doing crap in my subjects, hopefully in 5 years ill have the right qualifications to become a professional lawyer
Heyy! I’m starting my first year Biomed in St George’s and am aiming to get the medicine transfer. I was just wondering what topics are covered in first year physiology and cell biology because the syllabus online is so vague aha. Thank you, love this channel :)
Hey, they’ve changed the syllabus slightly since I did it so idk exactly what’s in each module :(
Anas Nuur Ali Thank you for the reply! Is there any chance you could send me your notes please, I would really appreciate it :))
It might be slightly different depending on what exam board you are.
For AQA psychology: Memory, Social Influence and Attachment (paper 1) and then psychopathology, approaches (including biopsychology) and research methods (paper 2). These are the chapters btw.
For AQA biology: the first chapter is actually biological molecules not cell biology (cell biology is the second chapter). But the topics under biological molecules include carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, enzyme action, factors affecting enzyme activity, enzyme-controlled reactions, DNA and RNA, DNA replication, water, ATP and inorganic ions. Its pretty much recapping the stuff in gcse
Hope this helped :)
How would you suggest I write up my notes for Biology/Chemistry. Should I type them up or hand write them. I really don’t know ???
in year 13 now, time to get it
Man activated my Google assistant @6:01 lol
Lololol
What were your grades at a
O and A levels
got fucked in my olevels got 3As 4Bs 1C and thinking to get decent grades in A levels so I can get in a good university for my llm
I'm retaking AS because I'm aiming for high universities and wanted to get top notch grades, but it's the most disheartened I've felt... I'm so scared I'm making the wrong decision but I'm hoping that doing this stuff will make it worthwhile
M T trust me you’re not alone! Am in the same boat here
Tina S
That makes me feel better! Good luck to us!
What subjects are you taking if u dont mind me asking
Yh I can imagine it must be quite a stressful time, just soldier through it and work hard :)
M T im doing the same thing except privately because I don't wanna go school again
Chealsy Cutinha no way I didn't know you could do that! So do you pay to study it at another place? Or at home?
How do u remember the content ?
Hi there would you recommend any students to do an EPQ for medicine, is it worthwhile or useful to improve your application. As I’m a YR12 who’s doing Biology, Chemistry and Maths while also doing boxing and working on weekends. I wonder whether it’s gonna be worth my time and help to get to medical school considering how busy I am needing to revise and continue with my boxing and work. Thank you.
It’s not necessary, but just need to
meet the entry requirement that’s it
What subjects did you do in A levels
Biology, chemistry, psychology
@@AnasNuurAli omg i have the same exact combo and everybody was confused why i was doing a weird combo like this , my aslevel grade for chem was a U and i would have to give resit along wih the a2 level exam will it be harder or should i change the sub however i am in a2 and have like 6 months so idk whether thats a good idea or what , i have CIE exam board with 5pprs in total for the resits plus a2 u think its hard to score and A in chem??
Bro you should collab with Ali abdaal who is doing medicine whilst RUclips would be a great video to watch
Can we get an A in 8 months in A levels, if we are giving both As &A levels. :'(
I did and so can you !!
Definitely
@@AnasNuurAli honestly you can't even imagine how much it boosted my confidence cause I've constantly told it is impossible. Also can you give tips upon preparation of physics .
@@MR2perfectable wow bro! What were you're subjects and any tip that might be helpful for me !
@@user-fw3dk9vt1c I did maths, bio, chem and physics bro (I did bio in one year).
I'm willing to sacrifice my free time. I'm starting year 12 in two days. I'm gonna capitalise on every free periods and I'm gonna ignore people who make fun of me for try harding on week 1. I'm doing biology, chemistry and history as well as a phat 4000 word essay on bacteriophage therapy for my EPQ.
Bruhhhh that's what we all said ...now look at us 😂
taku dhewa lol, nah I'm really gonna do it
That’s the spirit
@@takudhewa5779 exactlyyy dont do that to yourself m8 as is pretty good if you revise constantly man
Do that , some will hate and mock, others will say (like in the previous comments to your comment) that “that’s what we all say” but stay focussed and ignore them all, there is no ambition where pen is not put
to paper
1:44 ur welcome
Me doing btec and can't do a levels 😓
Collab with Karma medic surely
Yhh man were still trying to organise something since last year lool
CAN YOU PLEASE ANSWER ME. If we want to practice past papers throughout the year, do u recommend doing topical questions online or doing selected questions from the whole paper physically?
Topical questions 🧡. Leave past papers for when you want to test your knowledge about everything; don't select questions from them. 😁
@@mrs.potatohead8471 But if we want to do past papers from 10 years before then wont that be too much to do near the exams?
@@ayezahnoman6298 I don't understand 😅.
@@mrs.potatohead8471 im trying to say that if we do topical questions throughout the year, and when there are 2 or 3 months left for the exams, then wont it be very difficult to do all the past papers starting from 2010?
@@ayezahnoman6298 Ah, I don't know. Sorry 😅.
What if you only have less 2 than two months and still haven't covered the topic online
What's this for?
Can I do medicine with bio, chem and physics A level instead of maths
Definitely
Yepp
Yoooo am I the only one trying to prep in lockdown
Can you provide notes for phy chem bio
Your own notes or the one you considered good
Find supplementary resources
I did my a levels ages ago 😅

How many hours of revision per week?
Quality over quantity. Just make sure that you repeat the topics that you've already revised AGAIN AND AGAIN. I advise splitting the 9 months by 3. Quarter of the subjects per 3 months. This means that you get to revise evenly and three times.
Guys it's the age of ideas. Not grades. It's the experience that matters. Go and learn about ways to make money, generate ideas. Down the road grades wont matter. Yes sure , you will get admission into the best university and pay huge amount of money . But it isn't going to land you job instantly. Even if you do, you will be part of modern slavery. Down the road no one will ask you what grades you got. Because the person who has an actual experience in the field will be relatively better than the person who got the highest grade in that field.
Everyone is naive with school and university
What did you do in alevels as subject sir
Yeet he did BIOLOGY | CHEMISTRY | PSYCHOLOGY 😊
Oh alright I chose geo chem and bio
Nice!
^^
Kinda exited for sixth form 😋
👊🏾👊🏾
Don’t be
What country is he from??
He’s from Eritrea
i did all this and got an E in chemistry so now what
Balletshoes59 ah crap
Ah peak :(
It's because it's hard, there's so much more to a levels then the "revision" aka your social class, your upbringing (if you been trained to be academic and consistent), social situations, and the ability to tackle exams people learn alot and do many past papers but in the real exam anxiety kicks in and they are not as confident in the real exam... , in addition it depends in the year, some people are lucky and don't learn the whole spec but the exam has everything they know where as others may be weak in certain topics but all of those weak topics could be the only content in the exams. And also the teachers make a difference, some teachers are trash and waste your time as wtih me
Same I followed these points i still got BCC
@@stressedoutkid2415 are u going to resit
I have a month left before my A levels!!!! Will that be enough to get an A? :0
I thought A level exams were in June
Are you going to hook up with Ali Abdal?
