That is probably his best track, but I think it’s better to listen some of his funnier stuff first since it isn’t his normal style and it’s better to be surprised when you hear it.
I think a better introduction is Professional Rapper featuring Snoop Dogg.

I strongly advise people who are getting into Lil Dicky this song. They think he's only a comedic rapper but Russell Westbrook on a Farm shows that he can RAP rap. It's definitely a more serious song with a good storytelling aspect.

He doesn't freestyle and he openly admits that everything he does is written because freestyling makes him incredibly nervous but he's no less good. He also only became a rapper so he could end up doing exactly what he's doing now with his TV show. He figured he could get himself popular by creating funny raps, and then turn it into a comedy career. It just so happens that his music is actually extremely good and entertaining.

There's another Sway in the Morning freestyle that was actually his first appearance. This video was his second. Go down this rabbit hole. You'll be happy you did. Looking forward to seeing more.
LD is a comedic rapper in general, but his skills are slept on because he interjects humor a lot of times. When he gets serious though it's damn scary how good he is. A true lyricist. I agree with the others you should definitely put Russell Westbrook on a farm on your list. Also, if you do some more of his stuff I would say pull up the lyrics on another screen, to catch everything he says. He goes in.

A lot of rappers either prewrite for sway or they'll have chunks preworked out but they dont know the beat before hand so they still have to adapt in the moment. My best guess is Lil Dicky writes some and freestyles some in the moment.
