- This is how to make a test bench out of an old computer case for $10 dollars (the cost of a used case) - I used a rivet gun, a skill saw, some body hammers, a drill, some drill bits and a little tender lovin' care!

that computer store would so be me. I wish I could tinker with tech all day every day.
me too
Same. He has found the true holy grail of tinkering!
This is *exactly* the same case as the one our old family pc was built in, and it’s exactly the one I want to turn into a test bench now. Perfect video for me, thanks!
Timmy Joe does another great project! For those of us with more ambition than budget, he is a great resource! :)
I was just thinking of doing the same thing, and wanted to see if anyone else had done it. Yours is the first one I've watched and I like what you've done.
The only difference in my circumstance is that I have lots of vertical space, but not so much horizontal, so I'm thinking of putting the drive bays underneath the motherboard. I'll probably end up building a wood frame for the whole thing, as I don't have access to a shop anymore, just some power tools.
I think it's awesome that you invest your own money in this stuff, and give an average persons review. Keep up the great work 😁
The name on that old computer at 50 seconds in.
Timmy Joe's videos are like the Simpsons predictions
You have the 7" 65 Watt Canadian Sony Subwoofer! Did you know the American version is 75 watts, has an 8" sub and hits about 3x harder? Pissed me off when I found out.
I use a motherboard tray from an old MESH titan gs, it is a very sturdy aluminium full atx tray with movable standoffs, psu, hdd etc just sits next to it at the moment.
I have been considering either wall mounting or picking up an old 486 style pc case, the kind with no rear i/o shield hole but loads of pci slots and space for a full size atx psu.
My plan was to mount the motherboard to the lid on hinges, have the permanent storage in the lower section but route all i/o to the rear pci slots on the case, front audio and power switches etc can go to the front panel. so i could run data cables externally and only use the power cables i need.
That moment when you find a Pc with a i5 8400, gtx 1060 3gb, z370 A pro motherboard, and more in the trash and decided to turn the case into a bench pc! Googled what to fo and good ol timmy has a video 5yrs old on it 😅😅 miss your content!
hey timmy maybe blur the license plates of your car or you could get unwanted attention from trolls ...just a reminder keep up the good work
You deserved way better than you got from the RUclips algorithm. I am sorry you are gone now.

Ok I know my opinion means squat, but maybe if you could cut back on the enthusiasm? Ik it’s great for character and all AND this IS the Internet. But maybe a more professional outlook on things would be more beneficial since you are a tech channel. Also it’s saves you the risk of me making a curb meme out of your videos lol.
Golden Gibus so you want me to be every other tech youtuber... There are like 1000 guys doing that you can watch. I will be my self thanks
