I can confirm this method works even with the locked bootloader and the current versions of Global ROM. The only issue I have found after quick test is there is only China available in the Region settings.

You're allow to flash the newest develop version published by MIUI forum from stable version only", whatever it means. What should I do?
do global rom's get otas like the Chinese ones? I read an answer from an banggood seller that said it was global Rom but no Ota does this mean everytime an update arrives I need to boot into zips?

bro i went thru this entire procedure but when i get to the point i have to choose the global rom file to run in mi pc suite instead of the percentage bar coming up as it says ...mine just brings up a prompt msg in chinese....so i dnt understand where im wrong....can yu pls help me out
They shows an error. So far i have heard that marshmallow version does not support MI Pc Suit. Please, make another video with a clear step by step process. Thanks

mình mới thử lại, đang ở china dev 7.46, mà sao up lên 8.5.4.0 báo lỗi gì tiếng tàu một hàng rồi :2007 là sao ạ
