You''re such a hero in my world! The ability to add more colors to folders so I can organize the tons of teaching resources accumulated over the 20 years of teaching has made my life so much more manageable. I can find things quickly and refile them changing colors for changed purposes. Thank you so much!

"New from Clipboard" is greyed out. I was able to change 1 folder's color and thats it. Trying to change it again or any other folder is not possible. I click on the icon... copy it, click on "preview", then "New from clipboard" is greyed out. Not sure how I got it to work the first time.

Follow it again step by step and make sure you are in the finder window when you are copying and pasting.

it deosnt work for me. the "new from clip board" button for me is grey. I have made a new folder, clicked Get Info, copied the image, then opened preview and that button is still grey. Is it not saving to my clipboard or soemthing? how do i fix this?

This is a great video! downloaded the folder but I am not able to copy and paste. What could be the problem?

Remember that you want to click on get info when you have your new folder that you want to change the color of. It's not just the folder on your desktop. You have to get info and then do it in a little tiny box in the corner

@@MrCampbellRocks I think the problem is once I downloaded your file to my drive all of the files show as “mp4” and not as actual folders like in the video

You should be able to pull the drive folder over.

It would be nice to do it with multiple folders at the same time.

The Clipboard doesn't seem conected to the Preview anymore. I can't open it. I used to be able to do this but not anymore. Has something changed with Apple

still Apple makes it vastly more difficult than under classic OS ... from system 6 to 9 ... click on a folder select a color from the Label menu and instant color folder.... how difficult can it be Apple????????????? Really in many ways the classic OS was friendlier than Sonoma !
