Not as hard as I expected
Fear arrows are surprising effective on Amrau! It only takes 2 or 3 hits to initiate a stab session. Great to keep in mind if you're playing on Deadly Obsession!
It is much easier! You need to make sure he is following you near the ends/ corners, and when shooting with the escopeta at him and he falls down, the game is over. You don't need to go stub him any other times.
@@anarequenaestorach6525 does this still work I just finished Shadow and I need to complete Deadly Obsession for the plat and I don't want to deal with him I just want to pretty much one shot him so I can get the plat lols
I wish I could've tea bagged him in the cutscene, he was far too annoying
after spending over an hour just on this fight last night, finally did it tonight in less than 30 minutes. as someone pointed out here or on some other videos, concentrate on the boss, do not waste ammo on the soldiers. one thing i like to add is aside the 'dodge/evade', hit the counter attack right away. it's one strike and will kill the soldiers. this is especially helpful during the last wave. it takes them out during qte, no damage can be done on you during the kill.
i think it took me 5 stabs? and i was on easy mode.
this game is not easy. if not for the youtube gamers' help, i would've given up 2/3 of the way through. some of the puzzles are just wtf. who would've thunk it? the clues through out are more confusing than the puzzles.

@@alenalena7388 it's been a long time since i played. i believe the stabbings were qte actions. you don't just pick up a knife. you push the buttons as soon as it prompts you. i think that;s how/what it is. good luck.
I just gave up on here since I did not focus much on skills upgrades and all and I had just 1 health replenish o ot was way difficult for me to kill him without dying.
Most boring game on the planet! I can't believe how watered down they made it compared to the other one on p3 ..., rarely any violence or killing like the other one, the game is basically about treasure scavenging and most of your time climbing walls.... Even more mind blowing is they made it rated mature, for what? A couple of kills in the entire game??? You can tell a women made it cuz it's way too tamed compared to p3 series
This level is really PAIN IN ASS. Tried so many times but still it's a headache..
I hate this boss fight cuz the soldiers he spawns somehow manage to take 500 bullets to the body and then they triple team on me
You gotta use the rifle or the shottie. That shotgun that comes with the silencer is so OP, I love it.
I dont think i will ever get past this. I cant even grab amo without killing me😔

I want to point out an extremely angering glitch that can occur during this fight that I had the misfortune of experiencing my first time playing through. Sometimes, when you weaken him, and you run up to execute him, it doesn't work. Because it was my first time through, I didn't realize it was a glitch and thus ended up fighting him for what felt like hours, weakening him, running in to execute him, but nothing happening. I kept trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Maybe he could only be executed in certain places on the stage. I tried the middle of the stage, and the edge of the stage, especially the edge of the stage because if you hide from him, he'll always walk over to the same corner and look down off the side of the alter. I thought you had to sneak up and push him off or something. Eventually he killed me, and I had to start the fight over, only to find it worked the first time I weakened him and did the execution. I was so angry upon realizing the glitch that it was difficult for me to enjoy the ending knowing that I just spent an hour of frustration trying to kill this guy, only for a glitch to be preventing it. So...yeah, just keep that in mind. This CAN happen. It happened to me.

That just happened to me on my first playthrough. The triangle prompt to stab him wasn’t working, I’m glad I read your comment because I couldn’t find an answer when I googled it. Once I let him kill me once, the glitch stopped when I next tried to stab him.
Happened to me i stabbed him 9 times
I took me about 40 minutes to defeat this guy and I died three times, but one was me accidentally falling of the edge. I really hated fighting those CULT guys, they are hard to kill.
When he started TELEPORTING...and chasing me, it made the fight that much tougher.
I did it in normal but now im playing in deadly obsession and I just cant do it is triggering me so much because the checkpoint is so far from the final boss, and everytime I die I get to do all that path again like omg
the checkpoint (fire) is like 2 mins (with out cutscene) from the final boss
I'm replaying this game and I just realized it came out almost 4 years ago 😭 like I feel old now

I hate game bosses so much. I'll never finish this game unless I drop the skill level, I guess.

You can use a leading strat and get them to the edge and knock them off
ran out of ammo trying to shoot three dudes with arrows lol
This boss fight only took 1 try for me. I did everything else in the game before attempting it so my character was almost completely maxed out aside from several skills. It was still pretty challenging tho. One thing i did was i kept making the dead bodies that were piled up into traps as I ran away. That probably helped a lot. Luckily there is no shortage of bodies to loot for salvage before the fight, so u can make plenty of these traps.
I GIVE UPPPP. Crazy how I have so many unfinished games because the boss fights are always TOO hard

especially when Amaru started teleporting behind Lara😳
but now I feel sooo bad ass for not giving up and fighting till the end 💪🏻

I only have little ruins and i never get his knife. I keep dying and i can't do anything.

4 times. I got rid of the “loose ends” before I removed the 3 rock inscriptions. And after Dominguez came after me, I didn’t even bother killing the other ones that spring up after you stab him. I just ran and dodged his fire before I pumped those shells into his chest.

What difficulty level where you on? mine was set to "Tomb Raider".
My theory is that amaru was driven by the silver box, and thats why before unuratu dies she said resist the silver box or something like that
i would replay this game if the middle wasn't so bad. The tribes conflict crap is so boring and they gimp you on your weapons even after guys with guys appear in the tribal space.
One of the most tedious and annoying boss fights ever. I honestly felt that I’ve gained nothing even after winning 8 attempts later lol. Rise > Reboot > Shadow

It probably took me 5-6 times on NORMAL just to beat this fucking guy. The first half isn't that bad but man the last 3 times you gotta stab him, just couldn't catch a break.

I defeated his minions
And then hid from him
I actually did a stealth attack on him and the end
It took me the first try to beat the boss, but before hand trying to kill all his men was getting irritating for me, that took me 5 tries.
installed it after 3 years for free and killed the boss after an hour trying again and again 😂
