I cried like a BABY watching this. It cannot be missed.
Watched this last week, it was just incredible. So impressive and moving - one of the best Disney shows I've ever seen.
I will comment on the story of this show for those who come to TDS.
Sorry if it's hard to understand because I'm using translation.
Mickey and Minnie talk about a fairy tale called the Sea of Dreams, somewhere in the night sky.
The scene changed, Peter Pan and others before returning to London,
Peter says that people's "Wishing Star" will be born in Sea of Dreams, and everyone jumps into the star.
Along the way, they encounter hardships and see a wishing star that is about to disappear.
However, thanks to his never-give-up heart, the wishing star regains its brilliance.
Wendy finally found her wishing star and was able to fly.
This show has made us eagerly await for about two years as the successor to Fantasmic, which was closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
So I am very happy to see such a wonderful show.I definitely plan to go to overseas parks someday.

I didn't understand a word of Japanese, but this show was incredibly beautiful! So wonderful to see Tokyo Disney having a homegrown evening show that is completely their own. 😄
This was one of the longest shows ever! I spent most of the time marveling at the effects!
How amazing is that. The thing I noticed most was the quiet of the audience.
yeah Asian audiences .. especially Japan are very respectful towards a performance .. be it Disney , a Concert etc - they only cheer and clap at the end

Previously, Japan was also filled with great cheers. However, due to the coronavirus, Japanese people have become quiet. I miss the old Japan.
The theme song is gorgeous. I love both the upbeat and the slow ballad versions. Very Disney. Reminds me of Step into the Magic from Disneyland's 60th.
This is amazing! I know about 10 words of Japanese and I cried. This is everything!

I did as well even though I don't understand the Japanese language. The emotions of the show spoke to me enough for me to understand
In the scene where the Disney princesses were singing together, I felt like they were playing this space with sound.
I just watched this show tonight, and can I tell you…I bawled my eyes out the entire duration of the show. It was a truly magical show and a must when you come to Tokyo DisneySea. I am so glad my family and I decided to stay and watch this!

Oh my gosh this was the most beautiful magical show I’ve watched just 3 mins into this video I loss it stared crying I cried even more when ELsa came out with her song and I love Peter Pan ship wow so amazing and thank you team for doing this magical video ❤😀

Upon seeing different POVs, the view from the hotel facing the volcano is still the best. Took some warming up for me to fully appreciate this new show. The theme song is very beautiful and heartwarming. Can't wait to visit Tokyo DisneySea soon!

This show is harmonius just better
The other comments on this video say it all. This is the Harmonious everyone in the states wished we had. Too bad Disney is too cheap these days to make something of substance and not just low quality money grabs.
Harmonious wasn’t meant to have live characters though. I love that it’s a mix of world of color and illuminations

@@DizDreamMCYep! Tokyo Disney is the only Disney park in the world which is not owned and run by Disney because they thought Tokyo Disney would not be profitable. One of the huge mistake by Disney. Tokyo Disney became the most profitable and successfully theme park in Japan.

The thing with the Harmonius comparisons is that they’re both Steve Davison projects. Truly though, this is the best original project he’s worked on since Disney Dreams!

Very nice but why do the states keep getting left out of these top notch shows?
I saw this November 11 from the left side of the lagoon. It is super impressive in person. The Japanese just do things better and the Oriental land company says spare no expense. What you can’t see in the video is the mass of people after the show is over. Tokyo is the most populous city in the world with 38 million and it feels like they are all there after the show ends. It’s a mass of humanity. My only complaints with Tokyo Disney is having to pay for the monorail and the machines only take cash as well as the lottery system for seeing shows. What Americans will find interesting is that the car lots are basically empty. Most everyone takes the JR Japanese Rail service to the parks. After the parks close, you have to take the monorail to the subway station and then you and 35,000 of your best friends fight for a spot on the train into Tokyo, Unless of course you stay on property.

Maybe it is more impressive in person, but the real thing I take away is that it is possible for large barges to move with easy. If Disney is able to make the Harmonius barges move around and go backstage during the day would solve some major issues with the show.
They do move. Disney decided to go the cheap route and not expand the backstage area to fit the new barges. They moved them out there from backstage, the same way they did the Illumination barges.
Can I ask, how deep is the lake at EPCOT? Because in TDS it's about 6ft, the main barge sits on the surface.
@@leonard5033 Technically it has legs that extend to the bottom of the lagoon to stabilize it.
They move away directly after the show, cause the tourists still can take the gondolas rides after the performance.
I just came back from Tokyo Disney Sea yesterday.
This show is more incredible than it shows on video, it was mind blowing, the last time I got the same feeling from the park is "illuminations" of Epcot. And this one is beyond that!
This was beautiful. Too bad this level of show isn’t here in the US. ( think Harmonious ) And the barges aren’t there in the daytime.

Yeah. Makes you think we all will gladly visit Japan once a year just to see their disneyland and their shows than California and Florida.
I like this without the projections so much better. I think that it's because you can see what's going on the barges so much clear and less distractions. Too bad that an outside company can produce a show that's so 2022 and when you look at Epcot's night time show it look like it's been there since the 90's. Those Taco barges reminds me of the old servers that used to take up a whole room. You would think a company like Disney would put on a better show than any other outside company. Said that Japan could do a much better job of something that was started in America.
In fact, it was mostly the same production team that did both shows. OLC paid for it but DLE created, developed and produced it.
Just amazing! This does make me depressed cause this is what imagineering can do with money, yet we get Harmonious, and that is the status quo for US parks.

Yes but I understand your statement. The US parks are mistreated and they can not even compare to the international parks, yet they make so much money from the US parks, specially from WDW, that I consider it is abusive how unkept these parks are. This show is amazing and everything a Disney show should be. Truly magical!

Not a whole lot of reaction from the live crowd, but a good show - enjoyed the Frozen and Moana climactic series!
Japanese people are reserved when there is performance but they participate very well when the performers asked them to do the choreo or anyhting. I prefer this than screaming people and awful singing at Disney Worlds's Fanstamic
They know how to respect the performers and enjoy the presentation

Visually its a 10, musicwise its a 9, the music is really good, the renditions were very short bc they did a lot of mashups and mixed. I wanted to hear more of the songs and in Japanese too.

Better then Harmonious not at the level of Fantasmic! My reasoning for this is because this is another IP heavy show where as Fantasmic! has more of a storyline with IP’s incorporated throughout the story.
In fact, I’ve heard there’s a very developed story line you can follow in the Japanese dialogue. I only wish I spoke Japanese!
Please Disney Gods replace Disneyland’s fantasmic with this beautiful performance!! This show is literally 100 times better is every way! ( visual/special effects, storytelling, animation, and ect.
Disneyland is too small. This would work more in EPCOT's World Showcase Lagoon.

However, Disneyland’s fantasmic is in need of face lift, and the story telling of WDW’s newly released fantasmic is the best version yet, and the visual effects/special effects/projections of TDS BELIEVE OF DREAMS is embracive; and Disneyland’s fantasmic just needs help… it’s tired.

Hey guys, whoever read this comment, please DONT buy a Disney Premier Access (DPA) which cost you 2,500 Yen/person because this is not worth for your hard earned money. You can just stand behind to those who bought DPA (if there’s any).
They WILL NOT give any seats for those DPA if it is raining and they might cancelled the show, however, THEY WONT GIVE ANY REFUND IF SUCH THINGS HAPPENED because everything is in their TERM & CONDITION. So, please BE CAREFUL guys! Just stand behind those DPA since it is FREE! 😂

There were beautiful animations on the walls and the huge tower behind was projecting lights into the clouds in the sky!
It's basically that, but what can you do in such a small space tho? There's only so much you can fit without it looking crowded or a bit much.
But this view only shows the volcano. The whole Miracosta Hotel has projection mapping when viewed from the volcano tho.
Why don't the japanese clap are their souls really that broken?
Nope, just usual courtesy to stay silent for shows until it's fully done. But that's not always the case. When we watched this a few months ago, people were clapping and shouting on certain segments and when it's finished.
Ngl tokyos fantasmic is way better than this
An improvement to TDS Fantasmic! (Worst Fantasmic! in my opinion.) I do not think it is better than Harmonious, I don’t think people understand that Disney was far from cheap even with that show.
Why do you say that? I think the Tokyo fantasmic is decent but not the best but definitely not the worst kind they can do
