PCL tears happen from impact to the top of the tibia, even if worn properly knee pads only really protect the knee cap. I don’t think they would’ve helped in your case tbh

@@romelom15 yea, I did get hit in the knees with the mcdavid knee pads, but it didn’t hurt cause they are knee pads 😂 Also, I have a condition, I forget the name, so my knees almost constantly hurt if I play sports too much, so the tightness on the basketball knee pads really helped
me personally if u have a bucket or a ridell speed u should get one its qlways preference but mine is super comfortable and hella drippy i would invest but like i said all preference
If you have the money, get yourself the Vicis Zero2. Super lightweight & your head will thank you; it’s extremely comfortable from what my son’s told me
It has elastic at the bottom. So when you pull them up it will stay. Also in some of my other game pants I just cut the bottom off and don’t wear knee pads at all

When I played in high school in 2021-22 they didn’t allow you to wear your knee pads above your knees for safety reasons

What's the purpose of wearing knee pads if you are wearing them above your knees, but yet, your knees are all exposed?
Because the rules just say you have to have them. Some refs make you cover your knees, some refs don’t care
