McMinnville Tn is the largest city and county seat of Warren county. McMinnville has a population of 14,000 and Warren county has a population of 41,000. McMinnville is about 75 to 80 miles southeast of Nashville in the Highland rim region . The Cumberland Plateau is also close by and visible from the city. Chattanooga is about 70 miles to the southeast of McMinville. McMinville is located at the junction of highways 56 and 70. Country Music singer Dottie West was born and raised in McMinnville . Actress,singer, and talk show host Dinah Shore lived in McMinnville where her dad owned a department store before moving to Nashville.
