Thanks Steve. Sometimes it can be a struggle but it actually helps having them separated out because I can decide what genre I'm up for. That's when the really struggle begins. 😂😂😂 Thanks so much for watching. 🎃
Hi Heather and thanks so much. I still have some weeding to do but I try to keep things moving in the collection. I really appreciate you watching the video. 🎃🎃
I am in awe of your horror collection! Munster Go Home and Mad Monster Party are films I need to check out. I recently watched The Meg. I have seen Misery too and the two A Quiet Place films, but almost none of the others, ha ha! I’m such a rookie when it comes to horror. Love the Frankenstein figures. Great video!
Hey Jon. Hmm... Maybe I have more things I need to mail you. 😂😂😂 Munster Go Home is just lots of fun as is Mad Monster Party. Watching an animated Phyllis Diller have a cat fight with another woman can not be topped. 🤣🤣🤣 You're doing great on your horror journey and each year you seem to add a few things to your list. Keep being Jon Doing Jon Things. 🎃🎃 Thanks for watching.
Thanks Mike. Quiet Place was pretty good. The theater experience for the first one was super intense. I think it was the first time ever we didn't hear a sound for the entire movie. So cool. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃
I suggest Mandy starring Nicolas Cage. It's an over the top visual acid trip revenge thriller. Also made by the same director Panos Cosmatos is Beyond The Black Rainbow, which is also just as trippy.
I actually have Mandy but for some reason, it's over with the Steelbooks. Go figure but I did enjoy it. I'll check out Beyond the Black Rainbow. Thanks so much for watching and the recommendation. 🎃🎃
Great series, Stephanie. I took your good advice and watched Pearl before X. I'm doing a video about it this week, so I'll drop a link to your channel in my video description. 😀
Fantastic!! I can't wait to see that. Definitely let me know when it posts. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed watching it in that order. Thanks so much for watching the video, too. 🎃🎃
Hi Stephanie. I just love your collection videos. Thanks for sharing your thoughts too as you show some of the films. I can only dream of having a horror collection like yours. 😀I am sure that many of these films may be much too scary for me to watch 🤣Love your copy of Mad Monster Party 🎃👻 I am glad you talked about Manhunter also which I think is a great film. That Robert Englund documentary looks really good. I remember seeing Orphan in the theater years ago and thought it was good. Wow, I love all of your Universal Monsters figures, so fun. Your collection is very impressive - love it! Talk to you soon 😀🥸
Thanks so much, Dave. See, this is why you guys need to break through one of the walls to the next unit. You can have your film and book library. 😀 Mad Monster Party is just so much fun. They just released a huge Rankin/Bass full holiday collection series on Blu-ray but it's $70.😳😳😳 It hade everything they've ever done but I don't think I can swing it. I think you'd really enjoy and appreciate the Robert Englund documentary. He's such a brilliant man with a very diverse acting history. He's a real fan of classical acting m and kind of fell into the Freddie role. I was so impressed by him and he's not arrogant at all but you can see how well trained he is. Thanks so much for watching the video I really appreciate it. 👻🎃🥳🥳
I've met Robert Englund a few times. The very first time I was super excited to meet him and had pre-purchased the photo-op with him but was never able to get in his autograph line as the convention kept capping the line because of the fire marshal. A little bummed I ended up writing to him and explained the situation and sent along a copy of the photo I had taken with him. He signed it and sent it back to me with some great inscriptions. Met him twice since then and he is one of the nicest people. If you get the chance meet him or just write to him he sends out free signed post cards which are very cool.
That's such a great story. He seems like he'd be a really genuine person with the fans. That's unfortunate about paying for the photo op and standing in line just to be disappointed. I know how insanely long those lines can be. I know the convention by me had all kinds of rules about meeting him, how many things you could have signed and no personalized autographs. I'm guessing to save time. That's cool he wrote back to you and it's awesome that he sends out postcards to folks who write him. Thanks so much for watching and sharing. I enjoyed reading your comment. 🎃🎃
I hope you enjoyed your night on Broadway! An awesome collection! Dr. Lecter in "Manhunter" is played by a young Brian Cox! A very small role, but he's excellent!
Hey friend. I had an amazing time and the show was fantastic. 😊 I love Manhunter and it's such a great day to start the series. I even had it on VHS forever. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃
Yeah Manhunter is one of my favourite films of all time - I do like Red Dragon just because Ralf Fiennes steals the show as the Tooth Fairy, but Anthony Hopkins kind of phoned it in as Lecter and I thought Ed Norton was pretty wooden as Graham too. Manhunter is stylish with great acting - Brian Cox is wonderful as Lecter and I love William Peterson as Graham. The only problem with Manhunter, the film makes it all about Graham and condenses the whole story of the Tooth Fairy into about 15 minutes - a lot from the book is omitted and to me, it doesn’t leave enough to make it clear his motivation and what he is all about. Red Dragon stays much truer to the great novel. I see you have the special edition Stephanie - wanted that for ages but it goes for 100 plus now - can’t really justify it for a nicer cover with a few more special features 🙂
Hey Mary. Glad you've been grabbing some new things for your collection. I'm with you... One day I'll watch everything. 😂😂 Thanks so much for being here. 🎃
I've been curious about The Last Circus. Couldn't get into The Lodge. Lovely Molly is underrated. I didn't like The Lesson. Really liked Metamorphosis. May is great! I enjoyed The Mortuary Collection. The twist was interesting. The Robert Englund doc is amazing! The Nightingale is painfully beautiful & brutal. Just revisited The Orphanage & it's still so great. Agree about Oculus. Still need to check out Pyewacket. Revenge is fantastic! Some of her survival techniques...😮. Great collection!
Hey Miranda and thanks so much for checking out the collection video. I so agree with all your points. Funny because I kept The Lodge because I watched it and though, meh. Everyone said I was missing something so I kept it to give it another chance. 😂😂😂 I did like the setting though but the story was weird. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoyed Mortuary Collection, too. Thanks so much for watching.
Same here. I know not everyone likes all the movies but I stick with it, even tht ones that didn't fly with the general audiences. It's just a franchise I really enjoy. Glad you like it, too. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃🎃
I have Predator and Alien in my sci fi section. My favourite horror film of all time is John Carpenter's The Thing which is also in the sci fi section 🥴😄
I can definitely see that. I don't have a dedicated sci-fi section so I guess they're staying in horror for now. I live The Thing, too. An absolute classic. Thanks so much for watching. I really do appreciate it. 🎃🎃
Such a great collection. Definitely highlighted a few I do not know and will have to check out. Particularly curious about Last Circus and Odd Thomas. AND, I can't believe I have never seen Rabid. I have seen every other Cronenberg movie and loved them. Oh and Manhunter. That's my favorite Lecter movie. I think Brian Cox is even creepier than Anthony Hopkins. Not to slag Silence or Anthony Hopkins. They are both great. Just something about Cox... he seems just a bit sleazier.
Hey friend. I'm with you 100% about the creep/ick factor Brian Cox brings to the Lecter role. I think it's definitely one in the franchise that tends to get overlooked so I like to highlight it. I think you'll like Last Circus, it's an interesting character study about the two clowns. One more than the other but super interesting and creepy. Odd Thomas is fun and Anton Yelchin all day long. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃🎃
Amazing collection! I have a question, where did you buy the movie ''NIGHTMARE CINEMA''? Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere at a reasonable price :/
You have such an amazing collection! It's got to be hell making choices when movie time hits.
Thanks Steve. Sometimes it can be a struggle but it actually helps having them separated out because I can decide what genre I'm up for. That's when the really struggle begins. 😂😂😂
Thanks so much for watching. 🎃
I really enjoyed the Mortuary Collection. I love a good anthology.
Same here. I thought it was really good but I never hear anyone mention it. Happy to hear you enjoyed it, too. Thanks so much for watching. 🎃
Hi Stephanie: What an incredible collection! Such high quality Horror Blu-Ray curation! 😃👍⭐. - Heather

I would highly recommend 1974's Phantom of The Psradise.
And interesting twist on the POTO story.
I'll pull that right off the shelf to the watch pile.
Thanks so much for watching and the recommendation. 🎃🎃
Amazing horror collection. I’ll have to give The Quiet Place a watch.
Thanks Mike. Quiet Place was pretty good. The theater experience for the first one was super intense. I think it was the first time ever we didn't hear a sound for the entire movie. So cool.

Amazing collection!
I have a question, where did you buy the movie ''NIGHTMARE CINEMA''? Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere at a reasonable price :/
Hmm. I'm not sure where I grabbed that one. Most likely, Amazon though. Could be getting a refresh if it's not readily available. 🎃
Thank you 😄
Which version of the Prowler is that? 51 or 81?
81 🎃
I think I Spit on Your Grave and New York Ripper are the two worst movies I’ve ever seen.. but hey, that’s just me…haha
They were both review copies. 😂😂😂 Not anything I'd choose to buy.
Thanks for watching.
