These videos just keep appearing randomly and somehow uploads themselves to youtube. Some people get a bit pissy about stream edited videos, but Sims 3 is around the corner and so is From the Depths. 👍
Just so people know a little about what's up. This game only has 6 developers, of which only one is full time, due to others having to work. They have one IT/legal guy, one composer, three 3d artists, and one coder. The lone coder is also the lead dev, additionally he is making the engine of the game, from the ground up. (If anyone wants any information on the game, hit me up and I will try to help to the best of my abilities.)
I just hope the lead dev will succeed before going mad, the games vision is just staggering. One of the few games I dont care about updates, it will be done when its done.
Alrighty first, I am just a fellow Exanimate. Secondly, everything made in Exanima, is for Sui Generis, it's one of the reasons the update after 0.6.5.4 took so long. As for not being able to buy it on Steam, are you referring to Sui Generis? @GameFuMaster
The combat and physics are just a small part of what makes this game special (even though the motion synthesis with more than a hundred simulated muscles per character, physics with accurate collisions and the dynamic combat system with basically no skill ceiling are very impressive). It also has the by far most complex AI system in any game yet (characters are simulated in a very detailed manner), the most advanced dialogue system (completely real-time, allows multiple participants, always possible to use, tied in with the AI system and thus emotions, relationships, etc.), a slotless apparel system with realistic influence on damage calculation (not just stats being combined), beautiful graphics with indirect lighting along with accurate materials and colors, a very strong atmosphere with unique music, nice sound effects influenced by physics, an original and very in-depth setting where every little thing carries meaning, authentic armor and weapons with realistic physical properties, nothing is scripted, there is no difference between player and NPCs, and a lot more. All of that runs on 10 year old potato laptops. It will also have a very in-depth magic system, alchemy based on actual chemistry, procedurally crafted weapons (not simply random), physics-based ranged combat, cloth simulation and soft-body dynamics, multiplayer, etc. They're also working on a huge open world RPG with complete player freedom. There's only one programmer btw.
Did I do gud with my comment, my fellow Exanimate? (Or is it meh, because I don't give more relevant information, like you did? After all, I am sure people want to hear about how a game plays, or the systems it has therein.)
@@LurkerDaBerzerker Uhm, I'd say you did gud. People also want to hear who is behind the game, after all. (There are 7 people in the company though btw.)
Jimmini Well, I know Sheng and Agnes are 3d artists, and Madoc is the lone coder. (Armour, weapons, and such for Sheng. And level/area design is Agnes's thing, if my memory is serving me properly.) Edit: Now that I think about it, what do you think Bethesda may do if they notice Exanima/Sui Generis, considering how inept they are? (I mean, they can't make games anymore, so why not sink the competition before they leave the bay?)
Thank you, as a person with 1+ million subscribers, giving this game some much needed love. This game is absolutely amazing deserves so much more attention.
This game (or at least the engine) has been in the works since before the gang beasts release, albeit by a different name (Sui generis). Remember seeing it ages ago and thinking it looked like a pretty great concept. Cool to see how it’s changed in this time, looks like a barrel of laughs
@@TheBangAverageChessGuy Sui Generis is apparently still happening, Exanima is the 'tech demo' and prologue to get the systems and gameplay loops polished before they create a full-on RPG!
@@jimmini8951 I quite like how organic the physics-based motion makes the fights go. It's like watching untrained yet fierce fighters going against one another. And then I watch as Robbaz gets eaten by a crate, grinder, chair... And it's Gang Beasts all over again lol.
YES! You're finally playing Exanima! Love this game, just stick with it long enough to get all the controls down and it's amazingly fun! More of this please!
oh man Robbaz, I've been subbed for so long (since when uploaded skyrim regularly) This video brings me back. You're a very funny man and thank you for giving me so many laughs all these years. Glad your back to uploading! P.S .. play more of this game!
I love this game, Robbaz, please make more content. Or if I need to start watching your streams someone needs to let me know. You are hilarious and this game is actually interesting. You defeated the undead night only to fall through the broken bridge to your death, what a turn of events. But keep making your amazing content and happy holidays!

Some of my finest memories playing the early versions of this: Zombie 1 clubs zombie 2 in the back of the head with a candlestick repeatedly in an effort to kill me through a slightly open door. Eventually, 2 dies. Getting most of the way through the first parts of the dungeon before being felled by a zombie wielding a bedpan. It hit me square in the forehead. Mad respect. Tripping over things intentionally. It is weirdly satisfying. Tripping over things on accident while desperately running away. You're trying to funnel a small mob into a narrow corridor when your foot clips the corner and you sprawl. They club you to death with a frying pan, prosthetic leg, and pipe. Both demolishing and getting demolished in the arena. I'm sorry, but getting knocked flat by a hammer to the chest is hilarious no matter what side you're on. The armor only protects what it covers. Weapons do damage based on how they hit. Overall, it's a wonderful game with a lovely aesthetic and interesting lore.
@@Robbaz hell yah love sims but i lowkey miss the skyrim videos i miss walrus 😥 lol but definitely exited to see what fucked up shit you do in just cause 4

Yeah, if you step into an enemy's blade while they swing it, it hurts less because their blade didn't have enough time to gain momentum. People have also figured out how to grapple and do judo flips by catching their shields onto the enemy's arms and other cool stuff. I highly recommend this game.
I love this game and I'm glad to see its gaining more popularity, maybe with the new influx of people this video will bring the devs might bring out a new update as there is currently a lot of features that they just haven't thrown into the live version yet. best of luck to the developers, thanks for making such a great game.
