- Plant 2024 is cruising along, but we have been out of the fields for a week or so now due to some much-needed rain! A welcomed rain gives us the opportunity to catch up on some projects and regroup. One of those projects is our 42' Demco spray trailer build.

We're a sugar beet farmin’ family in the Red River Valley of North Dakota!
Our farm specializes in growing sugar beets, hard red spring wheat, sunflowers, corn, soybeans, and various types of dry edible beans. The legacy currently consists of my dad, my uncle, my two older brothers, and I (Beet Farmin Mitch).
I am a 6th generation family farmer recently graduating with college degrees in both Agricultural Economics and Crop and Weed Sciences. Enjoy as I showcase our operations everyday work, grow as a young farmer, be a goofball, and walk out the most important thing to me. My love for King Jesus!
My hope is that you may be entertained and spurred on to grow in your passion and knowledge for all things agriculture!

THX4 feeding our great nation Mitch. Blessings!
That drone footage of the North Dakota horizon was great. Good to see you have plenty of help from the cats.
Check out Mix Mate's system for mixing ..
Farmers love it ...
Awesome looking trailer. Video was super also. Looking forward to more footage of the planting season.
New spray trailer looks awesome.. I'd like to see a video planting some sugarbeets
Would love to see more of that barley cover crop!
Like always, great video footage with drone. Watching your videos makes me miss North Dakota alot. I have commented on your videos before. We worked Dolans ,Denise Dipple for years, and then MV Collette farms. I will be heading up to visit this week. Been 20 yrs since I've been back. Pretty excited. Nice trailer by the way.
Trailer is nice y’all, great upgrade 🇺🇸💪🏻🇺🇸
Drone footage was awesome!
Great video. Keep them coming. Love that flat land.
Tell us more about beet farming. Step by step would be great. Amazed at your acreage farmed. Looks MASSIVE 👍👍👍
There is some wheat popping up here in west central MN also. We have some corn planted but we have been shut down for 10 days due to rain. it finally was a drying day today but more rain forecast for Monday & Tuesday. Good luck with the rest of planting.
Do more videos pleease
God bless you guys! If your from North Dakota you must of heard of Gabe Brown, highly recommended watching (treating the farm like an ecosystem by Gabe) its on RUclips
👍
Hello, old farmer 73 years from France, I always look at your crop land .I came to visit your en 1981corn belt ,Kansas, cotton belt and 2019 California!
Do you have a duty to plant new hedges. In France the ecologist rules of Brussels have forbidden us to pull them up for about ten years. We are no longer free. In Australia, they have an “indigenous” law that restricts the uprooting of trees. But what about you? 👍 🌻
Did you have to use the pressure washer (low setting) to clean up that muddy pooch?
What rate do you seed your wheat?
120 lbs an acre
@@beetfarminmitch crazy our irrigated wheat down here is the same. Our dryland is 45lbs/ac. On a good year, what could you expect for a farm avg yield?
I would say our area would consider 80 bushels a good crop avg.
