- I just reacted to ENHYPEN's FEVER MV + Dance Practice and holy crap. This has SOOO much tension and release moments. This piece had a lot of breathtaking, silent moments that really captivate the viewer!

Quick about me:
My real name is Tad, but DonKawaii/Don was simply an IGN name I created playing FF14 online, so I kinda just rolled with it. Lol. You can call me either one. I am also a teacher, and I teach people dance. And normally, I teach my students dance through sharing my own choreography, giving people drills or exercises to build foundation and technique. and I've been dancing for 15 years mainly growing up through Hip Hop dance culture, but have also taken inspiration from other dance artforms such as ballet, jazz, and tap. And how I got into K-Pop was because the main three groups, Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD. That followed with other things hallyu like korean dramas, variety shows, and the rest is history.

Why "Dance Teacher" even though you say "Dance Mentor"?
I actually consider myself both. I am not just someone who teaches dance, but I resonate more as a mentor who is there to help, train, or advise dancers to take steps into the right direction. "Dance Teacher" is a title that just makes it easier for newer people to understand what I do.
Do you actually know or speak Korean?
Baby levels. I've studied Korean 한국어 for 1 year when I was in community college. I can read and write in Korean, but I still have trouble speaking and formulating sentences.
Have you ever worked for any K-Pop artists in terms of creating choreography, backup dancers, etc.?
Yes, but not directly or in-person. I have partaken in choreography submission projects/demos under the direction of dancers such as Pat Cruz (Kinjaz, The Company), Larkin Poynton (Project Home), and Alo Galedo (Brotherhood, The Company).

If you decide to check out more ENHYPEN, I would definitely suggest "Drunk Dazed." The choreography has a much different feeling from "Fever" but it's equally incredible.

They are so good considering how young they are (their ages range from 15 to 19) & the fact that they debuted less than 8 months ago.
Remember that Enhypens consept is vampires… so ”the lift move” (at least for me) reminds me a vampire rising from the grave ☠️

enhypen is almost 8 months old group, therefore they yet dont have many songs, so i'll list them all:
album 1 = BORDER: DAY ONE -- song on it:
given-taken (their title track for the album and their debut track)
let me in (20 cube)-has a MV, 10 months, flicker (for these 3 i recommend checking out their debut show performances)
album 2 = BORDER: CARNIVAL, songs:

fever, not for sale, mixed up (i recommend watching comeback show performances, all have it except for fever)
BORDER: HAKANAI (1st japanese album)
it has japanese versions of let me in and given-takem (which has a MV) and 1 original japanese track called 'forget me not'

Finally.. It's not just me that appreciates this part.. 7:43 1st fave part on the choreo.. Aaand that release.. There are a lot of parts I like this whole set.. And of course their synchronization.. That's what they are getting known for.. So. Proud ❤️

This is classic son sung deuk… I didn’t even need to check who the choreographer is bc his choreo for me is kinda unique but I love it. The fast hard hits and then slow soft movements and extending any kind of body rolls possible… the levels and formation transitions… I just love how he does his choreo. There’s also a few classic bts choreo moves that are pretty iconic and that makes me happy lol they are kinda a little brother group to bts with txt… but txt and enhyphen are definitely artists of their own and very different from bts in a lot of ways…. And I kinda love that. As an army I really dig their concepts and these boys can dance…. Like holy shit i started watching iland and how they got into enhyphen and was blown away at all the competitors on the show really… but these boys especially in dancing….. they’re just really incredible and such great performers… I LoVE enhyphen and have fallen down that rabbit hole more and more 😂.
This choreo reminds me soooooo much of Blood, Sweat & Tears... the neck rolls, the melting moments, how sensual it is... oh yeah. Also, one of my favorite songs of the year so far!

At 11:47, it is so neat because one member (Heeseung) lays down, but then another member (Jungwon) is lifted up so in the live performances it looks like the member magically changes.

Hi! New subscriber here. I hope you check out more of ENHYPEN. This one's just one of their 'smoother' songs. GIVEN-TAKEN was their first song (which came out around last year) and they just came back with DRUNK-DAZED about a month ago (i think), together with this song, FEVER.
