🥺😭you went through a lot and I didn’t even know! So happy to see where you are now and it’s definitely from hard work and perseverance! Great video!!!!
10:00 I can relate 😭I suck at interviews. Not feeling like taking a course just to match with a certain company. I wanna be myself, and that's the problemmm. But watching this video, I got so happy knowing you had good experiences and is now in a comfortable position. Rly rly cool, you totally got to the winner screen. Congrats!
@@CodewithVincent Ayo just a thought why dont you turn the geomatics, cs deferrals into a meme, by repeatedly mentioning it in a way that people catch on to it and find it funny, like you know the "Bro" trend on social media, "Bro does this bro does that ect". I think this will kinda make it funny but maybe, just maybe raise the value of the acc program. maybe you can gain some momentum on your youtube channel too. #justiceforgeomatics
Hey new geomatics student here, just wanted to clarify, you made the transfer from geomatics to cs after first year right? And congrats I’m hoping to follow in your footsteps
Yeah that's correct! I'm not sure how things are at the school now, but you should definitely talk to an academic advisor to see whether it's possible.
I've been addicted to LOL: Wild Rift since the release day for one year. I'm attached to the game because of free skins, achievements and memories while playing, also I never miss any events. Now I wanna spend more time on myself instead of 3+ hours everyday for climbing rank. Can you share how you got out of that clingy emotion state for the game? I really appreciate ♡
Wild rift is great, games are much shorter! For me it was a life changing event. I moved out, lived in a dorm, and now I had to pay for my own education. I guess you can say I was in a do or die situation. (Waste my money to play LOL, or focus on school and get something out of it). I also didn't get into CS so I also put pressure on myself to transfer, which helped break the addiction. 😈
@@CodewithVincent Thank you a lot for sharing ☆ It really helps me to change my mindset T_T I always try to complete all the tasks, join all the events and finish most of the achievements. Because it's easier for me to do tasks that have already set up for me than to do the things that I have to set up for myself :P Now I gotta learn how to do it on my own. Thanks again for sharing and reading my comments hiehie 😋
Yeah I'm in the same boat, got deferred to Geomatics. I'm considering taking it to transfer into Computer Science but it's a bit of a gamble because there's no guarantee to get in. I'm also wondering if that's what others will try to do. If so, it might be even riskier. I have nothing against geography but it just seems like a step in the wrong direction for me. I'm interested in what other deferrees think about our situation.
@@djholden7346 a lot of people in my year went in to transfer. Some stayed and ended up getting software engineering jobs 👍 you should be good if you focus on your coding skills

Thank you for the video and your help. I just started my coding journey because of you.

When do u learn python and how pro u are in it plz make a video on it !
I don't think I have enough to talk about for a video lol. I'm not a python pro at all 😭
I went to this school named MIT where all we do is pretend that we actually went to uwaterloo. Brb grabbing my pink tie that I left in the DC library.
I guess the cool part about uwaterloo CS is the pink tie :)

Yeah competition is rough now.. but wanted to mention that in geomatics you can still get software engineering co-ops 👌
