SIMPLIFIED! Thank you so much for this tutorial. I learned so much! Sincerely appreciated. From this simple chart I can already see the gradients I need if I'm doing a sunset or a seascape or a forest etc. This is so cool. Thanks again!
WOW !!! This is a wonderful, informative video. Now, I'm wanting to make my own color chart it seems so easy !!! TYSM for sharing this video with us. Am gonna try to paint a sunset in acrylics, and, having the color chart like this will help me decide which colors i want to use. 😻❣️😍
Ultramarine blue would be a better choice since you will run into problems with pthalo blue (green shade) notice the purples you got were dull and not a bright violet shade? Ulta ram rinse blue would give a vibrant violet and not look kind of muddy.
I really enjoy and learn a lot. Getting ready to make one to have as a reference. It explains a lot and I can see why some of my fluid art "pop" more than others. It is still a learning process for me and I am excited about the journey. I am looking forward to seeing more of your videos.
This is great, thanks! I was looking for a different idea because those charts make my eyes hurt. I will be going to start this right now! Mostly because I received some paints as a gift and some of the colors...well, they don't look like the others I have of that color's name....so now mixing is a mess and I was no pro to being with! But a whole page to look at different mixes of that color would be great! Thank so much! I look forward to looking through your other videos :) thanks again!!!
@@laurelbotwick742 thank you! Well....I think I got over ambitious 😳 I was thinking of a page per color to get the idea of a few different color mixes...did my quin magenta last night, but took longer then I expected and I know I used up and wasted too much paint! Aaahahahaha but, it is cool to be able to see the different shades! I did the same line of color and then that color mixed with mostly white, just to see. I was surprised by several of the colors so that was cool! So, it'll take some time, for me, but like you said, it'll be a great resource later. Then one day when I'm able to invest in nice paints I'll at least have an idea of which basic colors I definitely want :) thanks again!
I always hated those other charts. I just started color mixing by experiment with different colors. Since I started paint more, I found that I need to make a color charts so that I can better chose colors

@@laurelgreenfieldart Thank you!
Can I use carmine instead of magenta
Sure! Use what you have so you know how YOUR paints interact!
