Yes, he went back to his original world, but that was by his own choice of *I cannot create a world myself and live with the individuals there that I created myself while thinking they are the same friends I had before*, so he just travelled in Time, a higher form of time so to say, and travelled back to when the space-time wasnt destroyed,afterwhich he defeated yuuki. The *lived his life like before he was reincarnated* was done with a clone, his original self still remains inside the main world along with his friends and subordinates.
And there are many side stories after the official ends.
As for the ln, not even its main storyline has been finished yet, to say nothing of afterstories

I liked everything except „new demon primordials” because primordials in this case are oldest demons
no offense, but although "primordial demon" is technically a title, it is more representative and symbolic of the first 7 with my general knowledge being that they were born from the great spirit of darkness at the beginning of time starting their respective lineages, in other words, new primordials can't exist but I like the concept. Next, for the new spirit queen, I think that it does make sense for there to be a replacement, but was she just a random spirit that rose through the ranks? Or was she chose for her "lineage". but overall I like when people express their creativity through AUs, even if there is a ship I don't support.
we could also take it as Primordial born of Rimuru's magicules being separate from normal primordials
