Beautiful concert!! Love your dress and your posts! I have been playing the piano for 20 years, and I still enjoy going to concerts around chamber music in my town. It’s great to see that there are women out there who appreciate classical music! ❤
I’m a 2-4 cup per day person on an average day. When I’m facing a late night with rehearsals or performances (why does a 3 hour musical have to start at 8 pm!?!), I need a little pick me up, but I don’t want coffee breath while playing, especially because I prefer a splash of coffee in my cup of creamer and don’t want my flute to become a sticky mess. So I found caffeinated unsweetened flavored seltzers. Like Bubly, or my favorite is a store brand from Target. It keeps me hydrated since it’s water, the slight fizziness is light and refreshing on the tongue, and just enough caffeine to keep me alert without keeping me up all night.
All of your installments are well worth waiting for, no matter the season! I loved every bit--and your concert was simply wonderful for what we got to see. I wish I'd been able to score a ticket and get to town. Thank you for sharing it! 💖
Another lovely vlog. You capture the joy of performing so well. Definitely no caffeine for me! Agree though, if you are playing tutti then less critical. Love the balance of things in your vlogs. Nice to see snippets of NY at Christmas-time. Haven't heard that Debussy before, so will definitely check it out. I guess some of the best music can come from difficult circumstances.
Caffeine! I don't drink coffee I wish I liked it but I don't. But I found a drink mix that goes in water that I absolutely love. I have to have at least two of those packets a day. Concert or not. In fact if a concert is late in the day I will still drink one even if it keeps me awake later that night because I like the awakeness of the caffeine.
1. Vlogmas all year long would make us super happy lol
2. THE DRESS. It was the moment.

Love your posts, who cares if it’s late?

Beautiful music, beautifully played! Enjoyed the Ruggles arrangement and loved the harp. In awe!❤💫
Wow, that Vivaldi was just gorgeous. And the harp made me tear up. Just beautiful.
Katie I missed your vlogs!!! So happy you’re posting again 🎉🎉
Vivaldi, just like Bach, was so prolific. And I love the fury he brings to his pieces. Anything Vivaldi, calms fun or furious makes you feel alive 🎉❤😊
Thanks still for posting even if it's Feb!!! We love still knowing what you did. Darn computers... The greensleeves was divine. ❤
What a beautiful concert! And congrats on being sold out. It must be amazing to be able to organize AND play, with so much creative freedom ❤
I love Christmas in February. I was looking forward to this.❤
Wow, that was great to watch. Thank you for sharing.

Proud to say I’m first, lol. Thanks for another great vlog. Better late than never 😂😂❤️❤️
Enjoyed watching you all play. The harp was a special treat! The Nutcracker was my favorite.
What a beautiful concert!

No afternoon coffee for gigs where I am more exposed but always morning coffee! 🤣 You sound gorgeous!!
Team caffeine all the way! I really don’t know how to human without coffee!
I operate on a month or two behind most times!
1:29 I have to be careful on the caffiene thing because if i have too much my hands get shaky, especially added to preexisting nerves
With over 500 concertos , did Vivaldi compose whole scores with each instrument?
