@@doublesalopetoimcre I mean its true. That's why you have to trust on those who respect you and treat you better. Also, to add: Family is a social construct. And why is that? Because there are people who will always treat you like better parents or better family figures than your progenitors. This shows that family is not determined by blood, but rather on behavior, which invalidates the saying "you can't choose your family" when in reality, you will always find those friendships that, when time passes, they will treat you like you were a brother or son or grandson. If your biological family treats you worse, then they are not worthy of being called "family". Genealogical tree does not equal to family, neither "progenitor equals to father/mother.

This was amazingly realistic. A boss likes to have an office of nothing but female employees for the same reason a lion tamer only gets in the cage with lionesses. And when a female worker lies about a male worker, the boss will also take her side because it makes him feel like a knight in shining armor defending some poor damsel in distress.

I used to be the White Knight, the guy who would rescue the damsel in distress. I would be the fool who would fall for the fake tears. I would fix the flat tires and jump start the dead battery. I was the guy who would clean out the eavestroughs or fix the roof. I was the guy who would unplug the drain or caulk a leaking window. I was the guy who would lift heavy objects for the damsel, shovel her driveway, hold the door open, give up my seat, etc. etc. etc. As I got older and more experienced, I learned the true nature of the damsel by simply watching, listening, paying attention and most of all thinking with the right head. I am now much more selective with whom I help.
