Thanks! I just use a bumped up Hotel California solo tune in ToneBridge iOS app (used with irig digital). Crank up the effect and that's all.

Any chance you'd suggest raising the neck nut higher for an electric guitar? ('higher' to simulate a Lap Steel/Slide)

If you raise the nut of your guitar that high it will essentially become unplayable other than as a 'lap steel' guitar, so why not just get an actual lap steel guitar?

Hey I played in standard tuning. No I played by ear. And yes, some people claimed that with E B F# D B E tuning you can play this solo easier.
