I was a proud shareholder of Dunkin Brands when they were a publicly traded company. I was not too ecstatic when they were acquired by Inspire. They awarded shareholders with $109 a share from $59ish which is pretty good. But seeing that the company was asset light, customer centric, and great branding to attract customers. Then seeing the massive portfolio of inspire, I suppose it was a perfect coupling.

I agree. Their multiple was quite attractive too as a independent company. But seeing them now, like you said, its a great coupling with Inspire. Hopefully they go public themselves.
