- In our newest 33:45, Peach invites us to explore her expansive home record collection and takes us on a journey to Hackney Wick diggers-haven, Vinyl Pimp.
It’s that space between house and techno that excites Peach. With a sound derived from jacking house, stripped-back percussion, blends of techno, and heated rollers, this beloved Canadian-born DJ and producer, has become one of the most in-demand DJs within the underground music realm.
Today she’s as confident playing intimate, underground club spaces like our own Room 3 (remember last year’s secret Birthday set?!) as she is getting festival masses dancing rain or shine. Rewind and we find that her DJ prowess can be traced back to her earliest influences and the creative forces and friends that she surrounds herself with.
From the first record she bought, the formative influence of Derrick Carter, a deep love for DJ Sprinkles, to the records she would save in a fire; Peach details her favourites and shares stories of her journey to date with a spark and passion that suggests we’re only just scratching the surface.
I just trust peach

DJs used to dig for strictly new tunes back in the day, and now it seems they dig for tracks from 90s? times are changed...

Great video 🩵. @peach. Consider buying ortofon club MK2 carts. They have a louder voltage output than those carts you have. Really notice the difference 🩵👍
