@@brendanhubenak1852 Thank you for watching. I appreciate the comment on the drone footage. It is definitely a learning curve to make drone footage interesting and I still have a lot to learn, but I am glad it worked out.
Great video brother, flows well. The sunset, cave and lake was a nice mix. I did some trips in the Sisters area last year super nice, and lots of places to go. I have notifications on and yet I missed your last couple videos. I’ll have to check them out today. Have a great week. 👍🏽God Bless
@@godsbackcountryoverland Thank you so much for watching the video. I am glad you like it. That part of Oregon is so nice and I just went back a couple of weeks ago and explored it some more. Lots to see there. There are a few more videos from this summer heading to the “editing room” as we speak. Thanks!
I'm SO jealous. I did sections 5, 6 and 7 coming from the north. Skylight Cave was my last stop before heading home but they had already removed the ladder. It was late September. I was so bummed.
@@VictorVlogsPDX I had no idea that they remove the ladder later in the season. I am so glad it was in place when we came by. It was such a cool spot for photos.
@Bronc_Riding yeah, the sign at the cave has a date of October 1st, but when I got home to do some research they must have recently changed it to September 15th. Bats hibernate there over winter so they don't want people disturbing them.
@@stereode1uxe Yeah, I would think so. Section 4 definitely. The southern part of section 5 is a little rocky but I think you can manage it if you are careful.
I live along the Oregon BDR. Please slow down when you pass homes. The dust from all of the rigs gets old after awhile. We like to air dry our laundry and it is hard to do with all of the dust. The dust also coats everything, house and autos.
Very good point. Yes, I very much agree that we all must be respectful of private property, and keeping the dust down near homes is the first order of business.
Those pictures in the cave are beautiful!
@@HumbugMisfit Thank you! Yes, this was a magical spot for photos.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Love those sections!
@@Natezoinks Yes, same here.
The drone footage was so cool!

Got some good drone footage there. Excellent video! 👍🏻
@@offgridrecon Thanks. Drone footage is always a little challenging and I am glad some of it worked out well for this video.

@@VictorVlogsPDX That’s great to know. Thanks for sharing this.
Hey great trip. Do you think an outback wilderness would handle the trail?

@ Thanks for watching. Just a heads up - the next one in the works is OR BDR 6 & 7.
