This is very true! I loved my speakers but above 50kmh I couldn't hear anything! Basically never rode with music/navigation. Until my friends started communicating while driving and I was left behind with no communication while I have it installed. Here is how i fixed it Indeed the premade holes were on the wrong spot, I removed the side padding so I had some space to find the right location. I wore the helmet and sticked a finger inside to my ear, then going out i discovered the holes were behind my ears and had to move them for about 5cm to the front. I had to bend the padding plate a bit and reposisioned the speakers. I also moved them closer to my ears using cardboard. just 4 pieces of carboard glued togheter and than the velcro. The sound is like twice as loud now! I use Moto Safe race plugs to dampen the air which will also increase the music if the speakers are close/on your ears. Havent tryed it on the road yet. Its 2:30 AM
As much as might agree with you I also disagree. Me and my son as well as my wife use the same type of Intercom. When I am riding with my son on two motorbikes within certain distance, the volume is more than enough. But, when my wife rides with me as a piliion passenger, we almost cannot hear each other and after reaching 50 mph it is impossible to hear what the other person is saying. So, I wonder if close proximity could be the problem for bluetooth devices. Any thoughts? Regards
Hi, never had this issue with proximity. But I don't doubt there couldn't be such a thing. By now I'm using a new version with mesh technology. This is fantastic. No comparison with the old. Keep me posted how it turns out. Very interesting. Ride safe.
@@MOTOTravelUK Yes, no difference. My Evo 10c is fine but my new Spider ST1 has a problem with adjusting the volume. The jog wheel does not seem to do anything.
The old intercom issue solved for good. How is it working for you?
Such an easy and simple solution for such an annoying problem. Thank you good sir!
Welcome 😉
Thank you so much! I find your video for good! It solved my problem! You are such a blessing!
Thank you very much.

Ther is a lot of effort involved to get it right. But it's worth it.
Thanks for the rundown. Stay safe👍👊

Cheers Nigel. How is things?

This doesn't fix why the jog wheel does not alter the volume either up or down.
Have you reset the unit?
