In the morning the air feels cold, during the day sometimes the air is a little bit cold and feels hot because of the hot sun, at night the air feels cold and sometimes even feels hot in some areas. Soto and Sop are two different types of food. Soto is very famous in Indonesia, as well as Sop. Both have different flavors, because in Soto there is turmeric, or we called it "kunyit" which makes the soup yellowish in color. In the Sop itself, there is no turmeric but ginger and pepper. Also, rendang is cooked with coconut milk, we call it "santan". santan comes from grated coconut which is mixed with water and then filtered and squeezed so that it becomes coconut milk. That's why rendang has a coconut flavor in it. In Indonesia, there are many types of fruit. durian, salak, manggis, rambutan, mango or "mangga", orange or "jeruk", papaya or "pepaya", jackfruit or "nangka", banana or "pisang", and many more. Salak is brown and the texture of the skin is rather sharp like scales. Bananas have many types, and some are large and small, as well as oranges and mangoes. Outwardly, jackfruit and durian have skin that looks similar, however, durian has large spines while thorny jackfruit is smaller. The scent of papaya, durian, and jackfruit is very distinctive.
