THSC: Richard II - Draw For Your Sword

The play is set in a future where Africa has grown powerful and autonomous, forming an African Union. Richard King is president of the Union and has to deal with two of his fractious senators, each accusing the other of wrongdoing.
Working with Akala's Hip Hop Shakespeare Company we helped develop and film this excerpt from their adaptation of Richard II. All of the members of the company got involved in all aspects of production, shadowing the crew and acting in the film and everything in between.
